   Great food. Menu changes periodically to keep it fresh. Great wine list. Great service-attentive but not hovering. Love, love this place.

   Brooklyn Cafe is one of those Atlanta staples that's always great for lunch or dinner. I like being able to make reservations, too, as it can get quite busy. The staff is always fantastic, and the food is delicious.

   A visit from a long-time friend deserves the best -- dinner at Brooklyn Cafe!! Our favorite and hers, too. First -- a quick "Howdy" at home and then -- around the corner to BC. Dinner was the special sauteed grouper for two of us and the favorite smoked salmon app for dinner for the third. A choice of a nice Cab (I know...white wine with fish. NOT) made it work perfectly. Then the only thing missing was the Key Lime Pie and we took care of the, too. A nice place and a great time to unwind. See ya soon again, Jeff!

   All of the food - burgers, reuben, chicken salad and salad special with crab cake were excellent. Service was top notch. Highly recommend but best to get reservations in case it's crowded. Wine list is extraordinary!

   A friend suggested we try the crab cakes on this, our first visit. They delivered the best crab cakes we have ever eaten anywhere, perfectly cooked with ALL lump crab and zero fillers. They are pricey but well worth it if you want real crab cakes! I had the signature Reuben sandwich with a side of sliced tomatoes covered in blue cheese crumbles and a splash of vinegarette. Absolutely the best Reuben I have ever had with very moist and tender corned beef (I don't know how they achieve this tenderness), and the sauerkraut and dressing were very complementary to the corned beef. The rye bread was fresh and tasty. The tomatoes were the finest I have ever had in February, and when we asked the waitress who their supplier was, she said they have a "tomato guy" who brings them the best tomatoes he can find a few times a week. She also said they would sell a couple to us, but I did not buy any as we were not going home following this visit. The drinks were good, and the service was good, but the star of the show was the food. We will be back for another shot at other things on their menu.

   We are regulars at Brooklyn Cafe, having visited often over two decades. The atmosphere is happy and convivial, the food consistently good, the service friendly. A real neighborhood happening place: arrive with a smile, see your neighbors, expect good food and your visit will be rewarded.

   I rarely order chicken in a restaurant because we eat it so often at home but I OFTEN order the chicken in creamy spinach and artichoke sauce here. It is always perfect and delicious, as it was tonight. The mashed potatoes however were not very good this time - thin, a bit liquidy and bland. My husband’s steak was delicious and cooked perfectly to order. Marisa was very attentive and an excellent server - even tho she was super busy with multiple tables seated around the same time. She’s great at her job and this restaurant is always great too - even with a little misstep like the potatoes.
