Bullvino's Churrascaria is a family owned traditional Brazilian steakhouse having It's first location in Lowertown St. Paul, MN. Churrascaria, which translates from the Portuguese word "barbecue" is served all-you-can-eat. Roving waiters serve the barbecued meats from large skewers directly onto the seated diners' plates allowing each guest to enjoy a variety of options. Included in our flat rate pricing is our large self serve salad bar which has a wide range of salads, soups, meats, and cheeses.

We went during restaurant week. It was busy but not overall busy where it’s packed. We were seated on the last table against the wall were the bar was behind us and the hallway bathroom was also behind us. My view, I can see the guys coming out with the meat sword. Thinking they were coming to our table, nope, they skipped us. Most of the time, they stopped at the table 2 rows before us, also in front of the bar, and then they took a detour and went in the middle to the other table. Knowing it was a weekend and during restaurant week, wouldn’t they have more people serving the meat? These were what we got to eat as far as the meat that did stop at our table. Bottom top sirloin, bullvino steak, chicken and beef wrapped in bacon, chicken leg, lamb, garlic beef, pineapple. The garlic beef was too dry. One of the manager came by with chicken heart and we asked for more. But he never came back. I know he was one of the manager/higher up management because I meet him before. For our waiter, he was nice but forgot our drink order. Our dessert, same problem. At one point the lady at the host stand came by and asked us how we are doing and we told her we were still waiting for our dessert. She went back and a waiter came out finally and said they were out of crème brûlée so we got the cheesecake instead. Our original waiter apologized to us saying it was busy which we understand. What I don’t understand is why they keep skipping our table when our place card was on green the whole time. The salad bar was great, the grilled pineapple was delicious but the lack of meat we go for a party of 8 was subpar.

Restaurant Week, the food was good. The Credit Card surcharge will keep me from coming back. Also, a diet coke from the gun for over $5 after tip is ridiculous. Service was very good. Food was solid.

Meats were dry. Majority was overcooked. Service was very poor, wait staff stood around, were not attentive. Food we requested never came or took a long time. This is our first experience at Bullvinos and we will not be coming back.

We went at 4:30 to celebrate my brother’s 70th birthday. My 97 year old Mom and her 87 year old boyfriend were in our group of 6. The staff went out of the way to make sure we were well served and having a great time. The meat was brought quickly to our table and sampling a variety of tasty different things from shrimp to steak made an interesting event. Elaine over looked our service, she was kind and patient describing how to navigate the meal. Both managers stopped by our table and even let us take a peak in the kitchen behind the scenes. Our meal ended at 7pm with dessert and staff singing Happy Birthday to my brother. What a FUN way to celebrate my brother. Thank you, Barb

Such a fun concept with exceptional follow-through, the Top Shelf was worth the money and every item on the menu was phenomenal. 100/10 experience and great birthday celebration

Another good dinner at Bullvinos! Bitter sweet to see the location become more successful. Glad to see them increase business, now I will need to be more thoughtful on ensuring I book reservations.
