Having dined at the Bumbles Cafe numerous times as a local, I expected the same standard at The Blue House. Greeted by the friendly staff upon entry and orders were taken within 10mins. I never received my cocktail and my daughters glass of wine came 1hr 15mins later. I did ask a lady of its where abouts but still no sight of it. It did however get noted on my account. Food arrived 1hr 30mins later. Very ordinary !!!! It was obvious that others were disappointed that evening, as I witnessed numerous cancellations of orders due to taking too long. Sadly, I wont be returning.

Took 50 minutes for 3 meals of just 1 scrambled egg, 1 piece of toast and tiny strip of bacon. Bacon was just all fat anyway.

Beautiful venue, lovely staff and the food was tasty. Very surprised by the exceptionally slow service. We booked for 12:30 and were on time. Didn’t leave until 2:30 and only took the last 10 minutes to eat our food when it finally came. I can see why you ask people to pay first.

As part of my Mum's 85th birthday celebrations, my parents and I had morning tea at Bumbles. The staff were wonderful and wished my Mum happy birthday, we had a table near the window with beautiful water views. The staff were very attentive and helpful, the food was great and the coffee was given the stamp of approval! A joyous event, thank you so much xx

I love Bumbles - the location, atmosphere, food and friendly staff all rate highly. Unfortunately, my meal came out well after the rest of the table had finished even though it didn’t seem busy. I notice the table next to us also had to follow up on their order. Despite this we’ll be back for sure.

Really disappointing time at Brumbles today. Took 45 mins to take our order, took over 45 mins to deliver 2 toasted sandwiches and avocado on toast. Food was cold when delivered as well. Tables near us were not cleared so Ibis were coming in to steal food, was actually really poor. Have been here a few times before and never had such poor service. Seemed to be plenty of staff around but not much happening. For the price of the food, and the service we received, I won’t be there again.
