After 30 years in Jupiter, Buonasera remains one of this town’s best-kept secrets for those who love the freshest ingredients, the finest Italian food, and unparalleled personal attention.

Buonasera’s exuberant focus on using only the best ingredients keeps sophisticated palates returning again and again to sample Chef Leonardo Cuomo’s culinary genius while enjoying his Spouse Aleksandra unique hospitality. It is the knowledge of our guests that make dining at Buonasera feel like an honored tradition.

An evening (or lunch) at Buonasera is a tribute to an Old World way of enjoying food. The environment is welcoming, with both indoor and patio seating. An intimate granite bar allows patrons to enjoy a cocktail while awaiting their party.

In the last stages of expansion, Buonasera is prepared to accommodate area newcomers as they arrive for the season, as well as their loyal clientele addicted to the personal touch they can only get at Buonasera.

                                We dined at Buonasera many times in past years and loved it. Last night’s experience was nowhere near the same level of quality. Our waiter disappeared after rushing us to order. Our salads came immediately but the rest of the meal was very slow. We ordered coffee and dessert but were finished our coffees and still no dessert. The food - Dover sole, salmon, pasta - lacked flavor. It was very disappointing especially after having had so many great meals there in the past.

                                Arrived on time and table was ready. Server was Tracy. She was knowledgable efficient and very nice. I liked that the servers were dressed in nice uniforms and the guests were dressed well also. So tired of going out in South Florida and everyone is in their T-shirts and flip flops. Drinks were good and food was excellent. Portions were large. Had the broccolini appetizer and pasta carbonara. Both excellent. Definitely will go back!

                                The only negative comment I have is that when making my reservation through Open Table I selected “outside” expecting to sit in the large covered patio area adjacent the main entrance. When we arrived we were escorted to one of four or five tables scattered around the entrance walkway. This was not acceptable to us but the hostess was able to find accommodations for us inside which was acceptable. They have a beautiful outside patio and an overflow outside area. Your reservation does not specify patio or walkway. We have been going to Buonasera since 1995 and although not part of the “in” group have always found our experience good to excellent.

                                The best part of this meal was Caesar salad. The tomato sauce on pasta was bland and tasteless. The bread was burnt. Chicken Norma was a large portion and quality cutlet. It lacked flavor. Very nice atmosphere, but this is one and done for me.

                                Not particularly appealing. The food was somewhat bland, I assume due to the age group to which caterers. Staff was very pleasant, but did not seem to particularly value our patronage. We had a party of four, the table was small, the dining room was cramped. clearly not as good as other options throughout the gardens and Jupiter. Not disappointed neither impressed.
