   There are some very good restaurants on Amelia Island. Burlingame is a great restaurant! The food and service are always impeccable! It's our absolute favorite restaurant on the island!

   The Appetizer Spanish octopus was delicious, as were the raw oysters from PEI, Two of us ordered the crispy skin salmon and it was melt-in-the-mouth scrumptious! The others ordered Beluga lentils, the vegetarian special for the day, and added the shrimp which kept it healthy and very tasty. The wine list was interesting and had great selections, the service was pleasant and timely, and the atmosphere was a little cozy as we were in the room off to the right as you entered the building, which made our conversation a little loud for others in the room, so if you're looking to have a little fun, perhaps ask for a table with a little more opportunity to be somewhat louder than normal for a party of 4 friends or more. It's the third time I've been to Burlingame and each time has been great. Highly recommend trying this restaurant as the food is always fresh, seasonal and extremely tasty!

   Had an amazing dinner last night. The food was great and they made some accommodations for us. They did forgot our oysters but even that turned out wonderful because they brought out more than we ordered and didn’t charge us. There were enough that my daughter tried them for the first time and that made the meal even more special. Thank you for the great night. We will be back.

   We have always found great food in Fernandina Beach but Burlingame was in a class of its own. We found Burlingame through web searches and video bloggers and their reviews had always been positive. We chose to celebrate my wife’s birthday at Burlingame and they not only served us amazing food but left us with a memorable dining experience we will remember for a long time. We started the meal with Brussel sprouts and French fries. These were both exceptional and pretty large portions. Despite the portions, we couldn’t help but finish it all. For our entrees, we ordered the crispy skin salmon, New York strip, lamb bolognaise, and seafood gumbo. Every dish was cooked to perfection and the portions were also perfect. We were all too full for desert but without asking, our waiter brought my wife a slice of pecan pie with brown butter ice cream and a candle to celebrate. From appetizer to dessert, the team at Burlingame made us feel very special and took care of every wish we had, even ones we didn’t ask for. We will definitely return to Burlingame very soon and recommend it above any restaurants in Fernandina.

   A couple of locals recommended that we try out Burlingame while we were visiting the island, it was great. Starting with excellent service and attention to detail from our waiter, we really enjoyed our meals as the food as cooked and prepared deliciously. I had the lamb bolognese pasta and she had the crispy skin salmon, both excellent choices and we started with the brussel sprouts which were definitely some of the best we've had. We'll be recommending it to others for sure.

   Server was new, one month in the job, not sttentive or observant. Had to ask for knives, more than one pat of butter for bread plate shared by 4 people. 3 of us ordered fish of the day, priced at $62 and the portion was very small to include the sides. It was overpriced based on the contents. Will no longer recommend as a go to.

    Great night @ Burlingame! Food, service and ambience wonderful - as always. We used to be regulars when we lived @ Amelia Island. Now visiting w my brothers and their wives for our 50th anniversary. Just as good as we remembered!
