   Before we even got to Butchertown Hall I knew it was going to be good. We met 2 different locals who asked where we were going to dinner and when we said Butchertown, they both said, “Oh, yeah, that’s a great place”! Everything was delicious and the service was excellent! Our waitress, Allie, was super friendly and helpful with our dinner choices! The queso was so tasty, just the right amount of pico and chorizo. The chicken and brisket tacos were delicious! The meat was very tender and all the flavors blended well. If you’re in to bourbon cocktails, try the paper plane, it was perfect!

   Unfortunately had my credit card completely stolen. Was dining with three other people all on separate tabs on a Monday night. Our waitress, Leah, brought everyone’s cards back except mine. I flagged down Leah and asked for my card back and she said she’d be right back. No one ever came back to our table. We waited at the table for about 15 minutes before going up to the bar by the register only to wait another 20 minutes. I asked to speak to the manager since Leah completely disappeared and the closing bartender was the only person who spoke to me. Never saw our server again after I asked for my card at the table. Best they offered was to get my name and phone number in case they ‘found’ the card. Will absolutely never be back here and will be warning everyone of stolen AMEX platinum cards at this place.

   We had Tacos, Brisket and Ribs. Everything was absolutely delicious. We only wished there were more “southern” sides, or at LEAST cornbread for the table. The building is one of the most gorgeous restaurants i’ve been to, very friendly atmosphere and employees.

   Always a great experience dining here. The food and drinks were excellent and the service as well as the overall aesthetic/atmosphere were fantastic!

   The food is very mid they don’t do the Mexican side very well unlike Mercado . Tortillas are an acquired taste but honestly left not full from the meal . Chips and queso were good. Elote did not taste authentic at all . Also like a fire started in the kitchen so we did decide to just leave . Our waitress Ally! Was awesome !

   We love this place. We decided to take our grown son & 2 daughters for their first brunch on Black Friday. My wife & I were pleasantly surprised not to have to wait for a table & were seated immediately for a table of 6. Everyone enjoyed the wood smoked brisket & eggs with perfectly seasoned red potato hash. My wife couldn't wait to have her usual pulled pork & eggs &, of course, a pineapple sage mimosa. Our server Alley was top notch & made our visit that much more enjoyable.

   Great place. Spacy and friendly. Good food. Not a large selection of wine but don’t be afraid to ask if they have wine not on the menu.

    Overall the experience was not great. Service was decent - our server did all she could but could have been slightly more attentive. Overall a check mark in this category but not a ++. Our apps came out quick, we ordered the queso and guacamole - both were average to slightly and I mean slightly, above average. The big let down was waiting near 50 minutes for mains. They finally let us know that one of the dishes was holding the others up (which is never a recipe for goodness) we agreed to bring the mains that were complete out and when they arrived, most were over cooked or cold. 2 in our party ordered the Redfish, neither enjoyed the dish. It was dry and lacked any character or excitement. We ordered 2 sides & both were just ok. . I’m not one to leave a negative review but I know Butchertown can do better. I’ve experienced really good here. This trip was anything but that, unfortunately.
