   Been here several times & each time does not disappoint! Came for Mothers Day & the food was stunning - the lamb roast dinner is just simply divine, so tender it literally melts! The staff are just so friendly & cannot do enough for you. Highly, highly recommend!

   We have had yet another amazing experience at BBK, where we ordered the surf and turf steak experience, and it was absolutely perfect. The chef went above and beyond when they ran out of fillet, offering us a T-bone steak instead. I was a bit hesitant at first, but the T-bone was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Paired with the succulent lobster tail, it was a match made in heaven. The seasoning was spot on, and the entire dish was a delightful balance of flavors. The service was impeccable, and the staff was incredibly accommodating, making the whole experience feel special. We’ll definitely be returning for another round of this delicious surf and turf!

   This is a hidden gem! Understandable why they have such long waiting lists - the ambience was outstanding, such a cost and pretty place. It was fairly expensive but worth it. Service was exceptional, with very friendly staff. The food was first class - we had the steak and seafood experience which was worth every penny! The steak was the best we have had! And the cockle popcorn was out of this world. Can’t wait to go back.

   I’ve been to Butterflies before and thoroughly enjoyed my time. However, this time around, I was completely blown away. The quality of the food is just exceptional, the service is probably the best I’ve ever witnessed and the overall ambience is just spot on, cosy with just enough buzz. This time around I went for an early Mothers Day meal. It was just my mum and I and we shared a chateubriand, medium rare, with sides of onion rings and beef loaded fries. The steak was probably the best I’ve ever had, and that included dedicated steakhouses like Pasture in Cardiff. Then the sides were just out of this world. They were huge, decadent and would easily pass as their own mains in a lot of places. The value was outstanding when you factor this in. Overall, I’ll be back, multiple times in the future. It’s easily the best restaurant in Torfaen county.

   First time for us to dine here. I had the salmon and my husband and our friends had a steak. The food was outstanding and so was the service. The big platters are huge so I wouldn’t be having a starter with it. We definitely recommend and will definitely return. Parking is difficult in the street but there is a car park at the bottom with plenty of room and a very short walk
