   If you want seafood, By The Sea has a great selection, and all freshly cooked. Granted it was quiet when we were in there but the guy who served and cooked did a great job. Chowder was full, fish, prawns, calamari and Sichuan Whitebait very tasty. We’d go again.

   My 2 nd visit to Buy the Sea Fish and Chips on 2 seperate holiday trips and the quality of the food is top draw and a nice place to enjoy them too sitting in the restorant . Best place in St Ives for Fish and Chips . I haven’t had anything else on the menu so cannot comment for other dishes .

   By far the best seafood I’ve ever eaten!! Prawns, calamari and fish were all lightly battered with a taste of perfection. Home made tartare sauce was amazing!! It was our first visit but there’s no way it will be our last.

   The service was excellent the waiter who served us was very attentive and had a calm demeanor. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous I struggled to finish my main, how they make any profit I don't know !!! All in all very pleasant experience.

   Great little restaurant to get a traditional fish and chip dinner or you can get other fish dishes. As a vegan being able to find “chip shop chips” is a rare treat and a fantastic vegan “fish” and chips option is on offer here enabling you to take part in the experience.

    Another lovely meal at By The sea St Ives. We were a party of six and 4 had the fish, one burger and one avocado salad x all the meals were perfect. We will be back, Thank you
