Great food. Great environment. But my waitress was the best best best ever today. Her smile alone was enough to lift me up!!! Great burger! The best always!!!

We recently had the opportunity to dine at C. Ellet's for our small company Christmas dinner & unfortunately not the experience we had hoped for. While the quality of the food was commendable, particularly the Whipped Potatoes, Mushrooms, and steaks, the service left much to be desired. Our meal orders took an unexpectedly long time to be taken and served, and the drinks were both delayed and weak. Shockingly, they had run out of all diet sodas, and disappointingly, their much-advertised Prime Rib Wednesday Special was unavailable before 7 pm. Attention to detail seemed to be lacking as well, as we had to remind our server about the ordered bearnaise. Most concerning was the apparent indifference of our server, who failed to check-in on us during the meal, inquire about our satisfaction or offer drink refills. When paying premium prices, such as $65 for a steak or $20 for a side or salad, one expects a level of service and experience that matches. Regrettably, that was not the case during our visit, leaving us dissatisfied and resolved not to dine with them again.

Everything is overpriced ($6 for a serving of soda). I felt ripped off. The server was not helpful with suggestions for food options when asked. Food from the kitchen was very slow: 20 minutes for raw oysters, 30 more minutes for one partial entry to reach the table, and an additional 20 minutes for the next entry and my complete entry to arrive to the table. The taste of the food was just okay. Neither did the server or manager apologize. We will never return to this money grabbing, poorly operated dump of a restaurant. The single bathroom doors didn’t even lock and another patron walked in on me. This is very bad place to go on a date or for business outings.

This was our first time having the pleasure of eating lunch here. My husband and I truly enjoyed our experience. The food was delicious. I had the pork chop, which was absolutely amazing. My husband really enjoyed his filet. We made sure to save room for dessert and we were happy we did. The bread pudding and key-lime pie were delicious. Chad took care of us and was so delightful. We will definitely be making this one of our regular spots. See you soon!

We have been to C. Ellets many times and it has been very good. However, this trip there was dreadful! We arrived before our reservation time but still waited over 20 minutes. We ordered right away when seated and it still took over one hour to get our food! We had to ask the manager to check on our order…? When It finally arrived the fish dish was cooked to death and inedible. The hamburger was OK but the fries were cold. My flash fried oysters were cold as well…. Horrible Experience! No apologies received but at least they removed the inedible fish from the bill….

Good oysters on half shell (PEI) and Caesar salad. The entrees and sides have more butter and salt than what is necessary. Like that they offer you the bottle of Fever Tree tonic for a gin & tonic so you can adjust your own drink for their (heavy) pours!

Literally 30min from time we sat down until we got our drinks. Waitress said they were much busier than expected? You never give excuses like that to a customer. $25 tuna tartare was warm and came out with our meals that were not hot. We were celebrating my birthday. Huge disappointment and will spend our money somewhere else.

I had been to the restaurant before and everything was perfect. Our waiter was very attentive and professional, the starters, main course and desserts were very good, as was the wine.
