Recently taking home the 2019 Top Chef of the Culinary Coast for the second year in a row was Café Azafran, their quality of food and freshness speaks for itself. We had walked by here countless times and finally gave it a try. The food was terrific - we had a baked goat cheese gratin with artichokes and olives, and two large plates, rockfish and seafood taragona, a Spanish take on bouillabaisse with delicious romesco sauce. The presentation and quality were top notch, and the portions generous. Short but nicely curated wine list. Service was friendly, courteous, and well timed. The place in tiny - maybe two dozen seats plus a small, welcoming bar. We will definitely put Azafran into our off-season rotation.

While many have come and gone over years, Cafe Azafran remains one of the most pleasant dining experiences in Rehoboth Beach. The food, service, and ambience are truly exceptional!

The food is delicious, beautifully prepared and unique, and it is presented in a very nice atmosphere. I really enjoy going back to this restaurant again and again.

We have been to Café Azafran many times and it always has been a delight! The food is excellent, in a very small cozy atmosphere and the service has always been excellent as well.
