   Not enough staff, servers having to bus tables.Dinner took over two hours but not in a leisurely well paced way. Nice that half orders are available -

   Having recently moved to Victoria, this was our first visit to your establishment. With the possible exception of would have loved a little more Christmas decor 😜🎄, we loved everything. Our starters, drinks, & mains were all delicious - and your staff across the board, a pleasure to interact with. We will most certainly be back!

   Our go to place in Victoria. Love the idea of 1/2 servings to combine an entre with a pasta. Love the energy. Food is always predictably good. Greg (previous owner) always made you feel welcome, and that has not changed with the new ownership and experienced staff. Thanks all!

   Great dinner - went early and took advantage of the 4:30 - 5:30 three course special - tomatoe soup was very salty and I put salt on everything - Meatballs were very peppery and I don't like pepper - desert was very small - price was good at $32

   We love Cafe Brio! We eat there whenever we are in Victoria from our home on Pender Island. The food and service are always delightful!

    I love Cafe Brio but this was disappointing. My partner ordered the Bolognese which was delicious and there was lots of it. I ordered the gnocchi and the gnocchi was delicious, clearly house made. However the sauce was bland and detracted from the dish rather than complimenting it. That became much clearer when I found it dry and asked for more sauce. What they brought was basically a plain white sauce tasteless. When I told the server she explained the chef was ill and off work and the kitchen was troubled. But she offered nothing- no discount, not even a truffle to compensate. Disappointing. Might be awhile before I try it again.
