   My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Cafe Central and it was wonderful. Food and wine were great, service was outstanding and they gave us a card and a special desert on the house for our anniversary. Overall, a great experience. The only drawback was that the live music (piano) was a bit too loud.

   We love this restaurant, but I think they had a bad night. Our server wasn't attentive, ( we are not needy, but waiting 30 minutes for the check isn't normal). The steaks were overcooked, (again, not normal) Medium rare should not have warm pink center which made them almost too tough to chew (making me think they were not prime cuts), seasoning was very good however. The restaurant was very crowded, not complaining, there was a huge celebration going on downtown that evening which probably contributed to the large crowd at the restaurant. This might have contributed to the lack of attention and the overcooked steaks. We have dined there 8 or 9 times in the last 3 years for special occasions and Cafe Central has never failed to be the best experience. We will not consider this time to be a reason to not return, everyone has a bad night now and then,,,, we will be back.

   Overall My family and I had a great time. Daniel was excellent and talked us through everything, he also checked on the table in decent time and was within ear shot incase we needed him. 10/10 recommend
