   Wonderful ocean view. Excellent service and friendly staff. Food was outstanding good portions. Nice wine list, fair price point. Would return and recommend.

   We had a new server and she wasn’t very good. Almost broke the cork in the wine then didn’t let us sample it. Just poured 2 very large glasses. Our salads were delicious but main course came out and they were not very hot. But it was tasty. We also ordered a side of meatballs but she forgot to put the order in so we didn’t get them.

   I felt that the Eggplant Parm was lacking flavor. Although eggplant does not have much taste it is very good with italian spices which I felt were lacking. My husbands fish was a little tough and not worth the money. The view however is amazing!!!

   Hard to beat dinner on the outside deck on a warm evening just steps from the beach. Great service and decent food choices.

   The host greeting us was not friendly. Server was very slow to acknowledge us ... We waited at least 10 minutes or more just for water. Very disappointed - would not recommend.

   Our first impressions were not good. The host, an older gentleman, was not very friendly as he greeted us and then escorted us to our table (and throughout our meal we noticed his demeanor with other guests was similar). We went to this restaurant because one of us wanted pizza and the other pasta. Their website has a pizzeria menu, and says it is “open” Saturday thru Thursday, and we were dining on a Saturday night. After we were seated, our server told us the pizzeria is a separate restaurant and pizza is not available. Okay, so we shift gears, and both order pasta. After our meals were served, we see our server bringing pizza to the table next to us for a kid! There was no children’s menu listed, and if the pizzeria was open and serving pizza to a table with a kid, why wouldn’t they serve one of their pizzas from the pizzeria menu to a table with adults? Again, the pizzeria menu is on the Cafe Portofino website. To our server’s credit, she was helpful making some recommendations on pasta dishes based on our preferences, which did have good flavor, but both of our dishes were lukewarm when they were served to us. The garlic bread was very good. Overall, our visit to this restaurant was a disappointment, and we won’t be hurrying back anytime soon.
