Francisco and Hernan took great care of us. The food was phenomenal as usual and so was the service. I highly recommend this long-time Coral Gables gem.

Excellent Italian food. My main complaint is that we asked if the lentil soup was vegetarian, and we were told that yes, it is, and it turned out to have pork. This is a serious error, as many people have dietary restrictions. Our misstep was probably in not informing the restaurant ahead of time that one of our party does not eat meat. The waiter apologized for this, but I recommend they communicate better with the kitchen. I find that many Italian restaurants are curiously not vegetarian-friendly in ways that they could be (eg, make a veggie lentil soup), and that is a niche waiting to be filled. Otherwise, if you are into traditional Italian food, you will enjoy Cafe Abbracci. The pasta and Mahi mahi were delicious, as were the tuna carpaccio appetizers. The desserts looked divine. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Like its name, Caffe Abbracci is a warm embrace. Old world charm with a welcoming vibe, where you can talk to, hear and be heard by your co-diners in relative privacy. From the quality ingredients, careful preparation, and love that goes into everything they prepare to the highest level of service you receive whether you are a regular, occasional or 1st timer, it is a beautiful experience that will lift your spirits. We went here tonight to have an intimate discussion over a fine meal, and we more than accomplished those goals. We can't stop talking about how wonderful it was. We will be back soon!
