   An early Mother’s Day dessert was delightful experience. My mother, sister, and sister law have never been and went with dessert on the mind, and they did not disappoint. We each ordered a different slice of cake so we could try a little of each, still had plenty to take home. The sparkle lavender lemonade and petunia punch was refreshing and delicious non alcoholic beverage. We are already planning our next reservation.

   What an amazing atmosphere. Had a wonderful time celebrating my daughter’s birthday. Food was great, service was excellent and the feeling my daughter had making her day so special.

   Personally, I drove 2 hours one way to have dinner and dessert here. I would not go back. It is a cute restaurant, but the food was subpar. Their cakes, by the way, do not have traditional buttercream - it's like it is whipped and is not my favorite. My table ordered 6 pieces of cake and they are all like that, it was disappointing to say the least. Definitely overpriced. I knew that going into it, but I could have made the same quality at my house. It was fine. Pricing was NOT worth it. The ambiance would have been cute for a bachelorette or bridal party dinner, but not for an everyday dinner.

Our buttercream frosting is a Swiss meringue buttercream, which has a 6% higher butterfat content than standard American buttercream, which is why the consistency differs. We are also disappointed that you did not fully enjoy your food. If you have time to provide additional feedback regarding the food you ordered, we would appreciate the opportunity to identify areas that may need to be improved.    Service was extremely slow tonight with other tables demanding our servers attention. And there were several kiddos running wild in the restaurant which detracted from our experience. Somewhat disappointed in Cake Bake overall tonight.

    Took our adult daughter for her birthday - had never been to the Carmel location. WOW. Yes it's a bit pricey but the portion sizes more than make up for that. The food was phenomenally good. And the cake is simply to die for. Will definitely find a reason to do again!
