   Incredible service for my Mum's Birthday. Booked last minute, they even accommodated a vegan menu for me which was delicious

   Until yesterday I thought a steak was a steak anywhere. How wrong! Had the sharing steak yesterday, an absolute delight was quite honestly the best steak I have eaten in a long while, the last being in South Africa some 25 years ago! The accompanying potatoes to die for and if I had had carrots like they serve here when I was younger I may have grown up to like them! Such detailed precision in all the dishes with unusual combinations that work and superb presentation created by master chefs. I look forward to my next visit on my return to Greystones. All should sample the food at least once and I guarantee you will return, even if it takes a couple of years, well worth the wait.

   I’m very critical of food and restaurants so it’s rare i come across one which i cannot fault in any way. We had three courses from the remaining autumn menu. It felt like I’d walked through an autumnal forest, the colours, flavours and the heat from plates that seemed to remain warm indefinitely! Each course got 10/10 from me (never usually happens!). I had the pork cheek to start, hake for main and chocolate dessert. My friend had the goat cheese salad, steak, and almond cake. If i had one suggestion, it would be to increase the wine options. There is a full bar otherwise and a very talented cocktail mixologist. I can’t wait to go back.

    We went on a very busy Saturday night. We were waiting for the table to be ready for 10 min (I can understand when it is busy night) but nobody came to us to ask us for a drink. The food was good but the service could be improved (I ordered a glass a wine with my main course and never arrived). The manager kindly offered a drink on the house for the oversight. Steak (cooked medium) was lukewarm when it was served to our table (it must have been waiting in the kitchen for a while before it was served). Tables are very close to each order (you can listen next table's conversation even if you don't want to). Finally, the noise level is unbelievable loud despite the many acustic panels hanging the ceiling. I would go back but definitely not on a Saturday evening.
