   The setting is beautiful, with a nice breeze. The food has consistently been wonderful for years. Our favorite restaurant in the island. Worth the drive!

   We used to be regular diners here but we hadn’t been back recently. Staff remembered us and were very attentive, excellent service and very good food at a reasonable price. We will be back.

   The food was good, but for the price I expected to be, wow'd. We sat outside, which was a blessing, thanks to the breeze. Inside was intolerable, hot & sticky. The neighboring restaurant music was loud enough to clearly hear on the outside deck, which is fine if you liked that type of music. I'm not sure what the atmosphere is like on other days. Our waiter was the highlight of the night, Carl was knowledgeable, hard working & funny. Overall, it was a good experience.

   We have been dining at Calypso for years. And this was probably the best food we have had. My daughter got the pork chop and devoured it. Said it might be the best pork chop she has ever had. My husband had the crispy fish (basically fried fish), but he, too, said it was some of the best he's had. My son tried the lobster and shrimp in champagne sauce. He devoured every bit of it, and loved it. I got the seafood gratin. It was probably one of my favorite dishes EVER. Very rich, I only ate half and took the rest to go. But so delicious. We all were very happy, which is rare for my picky young adults.

   Outdoor seating makes this a nice choice. Some of the dishes were heavily salted and the linguine with clams was overpriced for what was served.
