Booked for a table on Mother’s Day and turned up to a note stuck on door, reading “closed for maintenance”

We booked the restaurant and drive an hour to be there to find it closed. Why did they accept this booking at all? It was very frustrating

The restaurant had a kitchen issue in the day we are attending but did not contact us to let us know that they were only doing takeaways. I appreciate that these were unforeseen circumstances but they should have informed customers that had booked.

My stir fry was very spicy, too hot for me to eat.I asked for some yogurt to tone it down but they had none. Instead I the waiter produced a tub of Ben&Jerry's ice cream which soothed by mouth no end. The food was judged good by all present.

Myself and my parents had a lovely time at Camille in Epsom. The food was gorgeous and the service was excellent! We will definitely be returning and recommending to friends :)

Good, wholesome, healthy food that has left us wanting more. There is clearly a brisk takeaway trade so it did feel like we were sitting next to a production line in a cafe. However, the food and service were excellent and we will definitely be back to try other items on the menu
