Outstanding dining and craft cocktails at a unique location surrounded by a lavender farm. Hostess, bartenders , wait staff were all fantastic. Every bite of food is perfection . Reservations are a must

We had a lovely dinner. I had the halibut which was perfectly cooked and arranged beautifully on the plate with grilled asparagus. We had yummy honey cake for dessert. I the restaurant was had a nice ambiance with a great view of the mountains. Loved the peacocks.

For starters, why did I bother using Open Table? Because I made a reservation specifically asking for a two-top, at sunset, BY A WINDOW, so my partner and I - who were traveling nearly 2000 miles to visit Albuquerque for the first time -- could watch the iconic Sandria (Spanish for 'watermelon') turn pink with the setting sun. Instead, when we arrived a little early (to offer, we presumed, a convenience to the floor staff), our first greeting was the negatory statement that our table wasn't ready yet (okay... altho my partner saw several open deuces as we stood in the doorway to the restaurant), so we went to get a drink, but we had barely paid for it and hadn't even lifted our glasses to our lips than voila! the table that "wasn't ready" turned out to be available hardly 3 minutes later. But the largest disappointment, and I confess it was my fault that I didn't speak up immediately, was that my special request for a window seat was thoroughly disregarded, and we got squeezed into a deuce in the middle of the restaurant, spitting distance from another cramped little deuce, so any hope of a romantic ambience while we rubbed elbows with strangers was dashed, and to add to this epic fail, our cramped little deuce didn't even offer a view of Campo's supposed noteworthy 'open pit' cooking. We couldn't see the mountains or open fire. We've had more spacious seating in a KFC. The bus service robbed us of the pleasure of finishing or sharing our appetizers, then had us sit waiting for the privilege of our salt-laden, unevenly cooked mains (raw pork loin anyone?) which she then had the temerity to try and remove as well! We made this reservation 2+ months in advance, expecting a Beard Award-caliber experience, and a happy, romantic conclusion to a weekend where I, as a lifestyle/food/culture journalist, won a North American writing award and shared that with my partner, who worked for the Food Network. But even our professional empathy was sorely tested to the limit.

We were celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary and we were treated very well by the hostess, wait staff and even fellow guests! We received many well wishes from all. Los Poblanos never disappoints when it comes to their food. This experience was no different. Excellent food! We will continue to be proud patrons.

Host and servers made us feel welcome and provided excellent and attentive service. Dishes were very good overall but somewhat uneven in quality. Great to have more than one vegetarian option for a change. Nice atmosphere and a beautiful evening in the North Valley.

Campo is one of our favorite places to go. Their breakfasts are a true delight. The environment is absolutely perfect. And Chef Perno does an amazing job. We love every aspect of Los Poblanos and their outstanding Campo restaurant. We are indeed fortunate to have this jewel nearby.

Took my mom here for Mother's Day. It is a very special place. They were quite busy and the service was just okay. Often had to ask multiple times for things and the bill had a number of errors. The food was delicious. We loved the new menu.

Very crowded. We were seated in a back room that was cold and I continued to ask for the AC to be turned down without success. Tables were so crowded that when anyone pasted us , their body touched the table. We waited a long time for certain requests, for example the bread. We wanted the bread for the charcuterie plate. Once it arrived, our main entree was served immediately giving no time to enjoy the appetizers. It was not the best experience and overpriced for what we received

We had Mother’s Day dinner while staying at LP. We were seated outside where it was quiet and we could hear each other unlike in the restaurant where one has to shout to be heard. Our waiter was a young man, who described dishes but didn’t makes our mouths water or suggest good pairings as James does. The amuse bouche was so-so, the only item we wouldn’t have labeled amazing! We ordered the roasted asparagus and it was delicious and beautifully presented as well as the field salad—the Vella Dry Jack was terrific! We ordered 4 main dishes and shared... the Lamb Mole (succulent, rich, perfectly cooked and the tamale was outstanding), the Milk-braised NM Pork Loin with potato and cabbage and bacon (which sounds mundane but was my favorite...beautifully prepared with unexpected heat along with the caraway), Cochinita Ravioli (the pasta was perfect and the pork filling sublime with real chicharron and an unexpected touch of beets) and the Mole Verde which two of our party liked best (smoked mushrooms, beans and veggies in flavorful sauce. I was glad the quinoa could be served on the side as I am allergic to it!) For dessert we had the Honey Cake with tangerine anglaise (a standout!), Tres Leches (I could have eaten a bowl of the silky pineapple:), a wonderful Lavender Horchata ice cream ( our favorite) and a Chamomile Rice Pudding (very delicate so we should have eaten first not last— this is where a seasoned server who really understands the menu is so effective.) We had a lovely time and of course come often to sample Chef Jonathan’s superb creations which are always aligned with his vision and true to New Mexico!

Fabulous food, creative menu, friendly staff. Our reservation (made months in advance & confirmed the day prior) was changed to 45 minutes later - it worked out since we were staying on the property. Mistakes happen, but I was a bit surprised by their response. Just the same, worth it for the fabulous food and evening.
