AFTER COVID 19: We, at Candela, had decided to open earlier and offer some of the most popular Cuban Dishes, Snacks and Sandwiches along with fresh natural juices and of course COLADA and CAFE CON LECHE.     I was very disappointed since I made the reservation to celebrate my husband’s birthday . I requested that . When we got to the restaurant the waitress wanted to seat us in an empty room , not nice . Then we requested a table in the nice part , she wasn’t happy giving us that table . I told her : times we were celebrating my husband birthday. The guys next table were also celebrating a birthday , they got a cake with candle and singing by all the people in the restaurant. When we finished dinner I reminded her , but unfortunately she did nothing about . I had to order a dessert without candle and without singing. Not nice at all .

    Just back from Spain, we were craving Iberian ham and tapas. After ordering the first dish - a simple homemade bread with tomato spread and ham we looked at each other and said, this is better than what we had throughout Spain! Every dish was fantastic. The seafood stew was exceptional- next time we will try the paella! Reportedly one of the best Paellas on this side of the “big pond”. The artichoke tapas was unique and delicious & huge, the shrimp garlic was literally amazing- a must order if you like garlic. The owner was incredibly helpful regarding choices and invested in his customers! Bravo! We will be back.

    Loved this place! We enjoyed the red sangria, immensely… just the right balance of dry and fruity! The garlic shrimp with the house bread - amazing. The paella miixto was also quite good, though the chicken was a bit overcooked. Service was warm , efficient and thorough.

    We had an incredible dinner last night at Candela, dining with a group of 8. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was friendly and efficient, and the ambiance made for the perfect setting. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend it!

    Excellent restaurant highly recommended, very authentic Spanish food, good service and reasonable price. The Spanish decorations is very inviting! This was my third time going to Candela with friend and family and I am always satisfied! We’ll go back for sure.
