   Food excellent. Prawns Francese, Veal and Chicken Saltimbocca all outstanding. Only issue that marred the dining experience was that my companion arrived first, an elderly woman, and was seated at the worst table in the restaurant…next to the kitchen facing the wall despite the restaurant having many open tables and us having a reservation. I can’t help but believe that was due to her age. Should not have happened. A request to change tables was met with an easy change but why was this necessary? Leaves a bad feeling with me.

   Sat 6:30pm seated promptly, restaurant was busy! Reservations are highly recommended. Festive…decorated for the holidays. Delicious “Halibut” special. Amazing service from our waitress Kelly. Wonderful dining experience.

   The restaurant was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The tables are impeccably set. The waiter was attentive and gave good advice and recommendations. The food was so delicious. Might just be the best Italian food I have in a long time. Portions are huge. The crème brûlée was so good as were the lemon ricotta cookies. Impressive wine list. Plan on visiting again soon.

   Capri is outstanding. Food, service and ambiance are second to none. Without a doubt the best Italian restaurant in the western suburbs!

   Restaurant decorated beautifully for xmas. Pros, Food was delicious, server was attentive. Cons, much too loud, tables too close to one another and lastly we were not aware of a 2 hour table time limit til the hostess came over and informed us, She then stood behind us until we upped to leave. Very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Do not recommend.

   Being Italian, I’m not quick to recommend “Italian “ restaurants. Capri, however, is superb. Just like being in a countryman’s home. We are blessed in Burr Ridge, to have this gem. My friend and I had the fried calamari with our martinis. The meat was tender, and there wasn’t a trace of grease to be seen. I chose the penne arribiatta for my entre. It was pleasantly spicy. Not overwhelming. My friend had the shrimp and linguini. They were the largest shrimp I’ve seen in a restaurant. Both pastas were perfectly al dente. My limoncello float was a perfect ending along with delicious espresso. My lunch mate loved here tiramisu and carpaccio. Lovely interlude on a cold late autumn afternoon.

   Great food and patient service. Our server, Teresa, was great. She was attentive but not intrusive. I had the homemade rigatoni - an absolute delight. We had an excellent experience - well done, all!

    Capri is an eclectic dining experience with great ambiance and "Old-World" recipes that are plentiful and delicious. Thier grilled octopus is to die for!
