We had an amazing brunch for 6 at Caracol de Mar. Every course was excellent. Wonderful flavors and gorgeous presentation. We tried it all: aguachile, oysters, crab salad, pulpo, tuna tostadas, uni pasta, risotto, sea bass, grilled shrimps, and pescado a la talla Contramar. We were just blown away with execution of the dishes and the lovely, attentive service. For dessert we tried the meringue, chocolate tamal and panna cotta. All were divine, especially the meringue in my opinion. The ambiance was beautiful. Loved the high ceilings and voluminous light. I’ve dined at many restaurants in the city, and this is place stands out. Entertained a mixed group of friends from here and out of town. All were impressed. Muchisimas Gracias!

I didn’t realize this restaurant is new. I found it on a whim, for my first meal in Mexico City and really enjoyed it. I had a very lovely sea bass, with a perfectly crisp skin. Great atmosphere, and wonderful service.

The dishes while somewhat creative were not executing very well at all-not very tasty, not good combination of flavour. For example, peanuts on aguachiles. It was a bad combo and inedible.

La comida, como siempre, es muy original y sabrosa. El ceviche de chayote es muy rico. El pescado a la talla y los camotes son buenisimos. Lo que me queda debiendo son los postres. Están ricos pero nada especial. La atención es atenta pero se sientan cuando tienen mucha gente. Jorge , el gerente, es especial. Es muy atento y calido. Siempre vale la pena regresar a este lugar.

Espectacular propuesta gastronómica con una ambientación fabulosa. Altamente recomendado. El tiradito de camarón, las tostadas de atún, el tamal de mejillones están deliciosos. El servicio impecable. We sat at the bar because the hostess seemed to be new at her job and couldn’t seat anyone with a reservation. We made a reservation through open table and when we got there we were told there would be 9 tables ahead of us. And I asked why we weren’t sent a message and she couldn’t answer me. So then we decided to eat at the bar instead. Jose the bartender was amazing. His service was exceptional and the other bartenders too. The food was AMAZING
