    Elegant but relaxed atmosphere. A busy restaurant so make sure to plan ahead with a reservation on Open Table. The vanilla gelato is quite a treat!

    Glad we ordered a couple of appetizers as we waited an hour before our main plates arrived. Beautiful interior. Popular destination.

    We were disappointed with our visit to Carama. We are probably “younger” than the average person visiting this establishment and we are uncertain if it was secondary to that or something else but are service was subpar. Our waiter didn’t greet us and then rushed us to make a decision off the menu. He checked in maybe once throughout the service. When leaving the establishment the hostess said goodbye and we replied respectfully she then proceeded to say “Mazal Tov” and laugh if seemed disrespectful. Just not a good experience in general.

    We've always wanted to try a Wolf Gang Puck restaurant forcthe first time and decided on Caramá. We were excited about the choices on the menu. The hostesses were very nice. We checked in early and we would be seated closer to our reserved time. It's a beautiful restaurant. We were assigned 2 servers for the evening. We can't remember our main waiter's name (Dominic ??) and his assistant Cinnamon. They were very helpful for suggestions for the evening. They kept our ice tea, water and Sprite glasses filled without being asked. We put our orders as soon as we could since we noticed that 2 large groups came in after us and were seated at tables on either side of us. We ordered the Grilled Spanish Octupus for the appetizer and that was delicious but slightly salty. There was quite a wait for this appetizer to come out. We did take into consideration this was a Saturday 6:30 pm start of prime dinner service. My wife ordered the Lobster Risotto as her main course and I ordered the Tagliolini Bolognese. We waited a very very long time to get our main courses. At the same time, we felt like we were forgotten since both of our servers were tending to the groups next to us also assigned to them. My wife could not eat her risotto since it was so salty. It was inedible. The risotto was not soft it seemed undercooked. Not sure if this was suppose to be this way. She did try a piece of lobster and it was ok but was so disappointed with the dish and the long wait time for the food to come out. We were offered for her dish to be redone or to order another dish. but she declined. She was worried due to time constraints for the evening. My Tagliolini Bolognese was very filling. The pasta and the sauce almost looked like it was starting to harden like it had been sitting on the counter a long time. The pasta was a bit "chewy". I felt that both of our dishes were ready sooner but got forgotten due to tending of the large groups.
