   Carnegie Diner was an enjoyable pre-theatre visit. It was LOUD but we could still have a decent conversation. If all the tables were full, it would have been more difficult. Staff were attentive. Food was good.

   Coffee was okay, nothing special at all. The vanilla coffee had zero vanilla flavor. But I will say the orange juice was delicious, definitely try it. For food I honestly wouldn’t order anything but French Toast or pancakes. We had multiple dishes and they were the only things that tasted good. Service was not the best. We asked for the Greek Yogurt Parfait and received the Greek yogurt pancakes. When we told the server, he fixed the food but still charged us for both dishes. When we asked for the check we were not giving an itemized statement, we were only shown the total on the handheld toast. We paid and then we selected to print the receipt and the server had even asked if we selected to text, email, or print the receipt and we told him print. He said he would grab it for us and then walked past us multiple times without it. We ended up asking the workers at the front for the receipt and they were pleased to help us out. After receiving our receipt we noticed we were charged for both the Greek Yogurt Parfait and the Greek Yogurt pancakes. We were afraid this may happened, so we let the hosts know and they notified the manager. After waiting for a little less than 10 minutes, the manager was able to take off the extra dish for us.

   Excellent good and great service. We are in town for the weekend and that was our first time. We will definitely be back.

   Wildly efficient, speedy service. Very good pastrami sandwiches. Great choice for a pre or post show bite.

   Way too noise of a restaurant. Waiter was good except for order of soda. Had to ask for it more than one after ordering.

   Sadly this restaurant space overlooking Central Park will go away this fall as it is making way for a new wing of the museum. I am sure that the restaurant will be as wonderful but this was spectacular due to the view.

    The service was pretty fast, server checked in with us during meal. Pastrami was okay, VERY lean, if you like that style. Coconut shrimp was good, fries were good and the best dish was sweet potato fries (tasted fresh cut)! Cute t-shirts for sale.
