Milwaukee's premier steakhouse, Carnevor is one of Wisconsin’s most acclaimed fine dining destinations. Disappointed in steak quality compared to previous visits. Also, the blue cheese was horrible, used to be the best blue cheese I’ve ever had.

I am from Chicago and eat at great restaurants all the time, and Carnevor could easily be a Chicago steakhouse. Great food and service, the staff is on top of their game and extremely personable. If you are in Milwaukee, you have to try this steakhouse.

We really enjoyed our time at Carnevor. Our waitress, Diane, was excellent. Very attentive and patient with us. We started with Octopus as an appetizer. It was perfectly made. We then moved on to the lobster bisque. Very creamy with a decent amount of lobster. For dinner, we had bone in ribeye and a filet mignon. I recommend the garlic butter on the top. Med/Rare was perfect for us. Overall, the meal was great. Price higher than most, but was a bucket list item for me.
