Had a surprise birthday party & the staff was very helpful & attentive at all times. Nice variety of items on the menu and very tasty. We always enjoy having dinner here. Brunch is very nice as well.

Was very grateful they sat us on the patio for a last minute reservation, but service was extremely slow. Received our first appetizers almost 45 mins after ordering and were told they weren’t “up to the chef’s standards” - they were oysters and calamari lol. About another 45 mins later we got our main meals - a pasta and a salad. Had multiple tables around us get to the restaurant after, eat their full meals and leave before we even received our food. First time having an experience like this here, but was a little disappointing with my mom being out of town.

The evening for our party of 9 started out great and slowly went downhill. We were seated for our 6 pm reservation promptly. The server greeted us promptly but our food took almost 2 hours. The steaks were cooked perfectly but the crab cake and Mac and cheese were cold. We were told half the staff was cut early which led to the long wait times and neglected service. We were celebrating a milestone birthday and the guest of honor was underwhelmed. We will not be back anytime soon.

we had to wait 25 minutes to be seated with a reservation. then we were sat next to a trash can and it smelled so bad while eating. food and drink took a while to get to us. had to get a drink comped off bill due to it being super strong with alcohol. we asked the server if it was strong and he said no. family ended up with stomach issues after leaving. they also did something to our car at valet as it took 20 minutes to figure out how to start our new car. I had to look up online how to fix the issue. not a good experience. food was also mid and why is brunch service so long? we wanted a different menu for our 3pm meal and we had to eat breakfast food.

Brunch today was absolutely wonderful. We were so well taken care of, the food was fantastic, the view was stunning. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We are so grateful for the entire Castaway team. Thank you, thank you!
