   We had a beautiful table on the balcony overlooking the ocean. A perfect setting! The staff were all very friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. We started off with calamari which had a nice batter on it but it had been cooked too long so was chewy which was disappointing. For our main dishes we had blackened catch of the day which was King Fish. It was delicious, nicely seasoned and a generous portion. We finished off with bread pudding in a rum sauce which was excellent!

   Castaways is a yearly favourite of ours,great location with a nice view of the bay,and the lights of the Gap,with the Primo restaurant right across the bay. The food is always good,the service is a little slower than most,but always expect things to take more time here than at home. The staff is friendly and accommodating,we always enjoy an evening at Castaways..

   Very good food - delicious prawns and calamari and mains - the lamb was excellent. Atmosphere was wonderful as w3 had a table next to the edge with great sea views. Staff were lovely

   The atmosphere in this restaurant is wonderful. Even though it very busy it did not feel overcrowded. The plating of the dishes was done very well. The Red Snapper special was excellent.

   Great spot to watch the sunset. Happy hour ends at six—we enjoyed our pina coladas. This is our third time in Barabados and we have come to Castaways every time. The top deck is better for photos, but the lower floor is less windy. I liked the blackened king fish catch of the day, but the mashed potatoes on top of a pool of red curry is an odd combination. Rice would be a better compliment for the dish. My husband thought the scallops in garlic and oil was good but too spicy.
