   This was our first visit to Catch Dallas Restaurant. Our reservations were for 5:30 p.m. Upon arrival the hostess asked us to wait in the bar; we were seated 15-minutes later. Not a friendly staff at the front check in. Our waiter was outstanding as well as all wait staff; extremely friendly, attentive and answered all our questions. Pricing of food was expensive for the portions given; though all of our menu items chosen were flavorful and good. The restaurant is beautiful though it was very loud sitting in upstairs dining area. Beautiful restaurant but it'll be awhile before or if we return.

   The long awaited Catch experience was a mixed experience. While the initial experience was quite pleasant, the great hostess, initial impressions walking in. The place is exquisitely beautiful with amazing detail. Truly designed to be one of the best not only in Dallas but anywhere. We were sat in their upstairs location in a corner spot, here is where I would say the experience was not that of an A level restaurant. The wait to be greeted by our server was lengthy and when he showed up it was a rehearsed speech at 100 miles an hour. We received the wine list and then he would disappear for 10 to 15 minutes. He was unfamiliar with what wines they had so he brought a sommelier who seemed to be cursed with the same rehearsal and rushing the moment. We bought a bottle of Cathy’s and then waited 20 minutes to order, the server came over and stated they take the entire order at once and then they space the entrees for you. We obliged starting with sushi, tuna tartare, nigiri plate, chopped salad and then sticky rice. He took the order and everything came out at once except for the sticky rice. After dining on the sushi, we then moved to the tuna tartare and then the nigiri plate. I will say this is the best sushi in Dallas….i could not believe it!! Absolutely amazing!!! The problem was it was just all on the table at once so we worked our way through the dishes and the last thing remaining was the chopped blue cheese salad (amazing) but we were left with the same plates as the sushi so we had to find someone to change these out. We did and then we waited for 20 minutes for the next portion which was the sticky rice. We ate the two and then we sat for 30 minutes waiting on the main course and at this point our food has settled and we are no longer hungry but we are good sports so no complaints just ate what we could and took the rest. I had the wagyu fried rice (life changing) and my wife had the branzino which was to die for! No complaints on food!

   The valentines pre-fixed menu was amazing! My favorites were the Crudo, Catch roll, Tuna tartare, Roasted Langoustines, spicy gigli, and Miso glazed sea bass.

   First time at Catch and it was fabulous! Truly one of, if not the best, restaurant in Dallas. The hostesses, the bartender, the server teams, the support teams were all incredibly trained and excited to be at Catch. The design is amazing and the food was incredible. Really think it's at the top of the hill in Dallas restaurants. A must visit!

   The food is outstanding. The front of house experience lacks finesse and the servers lack training for a fine dining experience delivery, but the pricing supports a fine dining expectation. They are very specific about what they won't do and tell you at every opportunity. One must order all at once, there are no substitutions even for allergies, (one of the diners at our table has a nut and avacado allergy), collection of a $50 deposit per person but if you are more than 15 minutes late or your reservation will be cancelled. Spcecifc service challenges: Service was slow overall. Empty cocktails sat entirely too long and we had to ask for refills, no check-ins on quality of the dishes as we were coursing through our meal, they did not have enough dessert menus to present so the server had to recite the menu, and strangely the check was dropped on our table before dessert servce started. We might be back to dine just because the quality of the meal is to be craved, but will go with lower expectations next time.

   Catch Dallas- Beautiful Restaurant 5☆ - Food 4 ☆ - Service 1☆ , the waitress didn't take the time to ask if we needed anything , couldn't hear her- water & tea glasses sat empty, until i ask 4 different time. Appetizers were good. My 81 year of mother had the red snapper, she said that was good, but it was cold. Husband & I had steak- great flavor & very good. I was super excited about going to restaurant, very disappointed in the service. Not a good fit for our family.

   Loved our early seating at Catch, the scenery is gorgeous and the food was delicious. The later we stayed the louder it got but ya know it’s a Dallas hot spot so that’s to be expected. Can’t wait to go back!

    Amazing dinner ! Food was wonderful , service was great. Lovely fun atmosphere only thing to know is it’s very loud from the music volume so it’s hard to have a convo if your are going to be able to chat with others . Highly recommend the menu is fantastic .
