   Our waiter insulted us, was rude the entire experience, and ruined our birthday dinner. A completely unacceptable hospitality experience, especially given the price. I am deeply upset and will not return if that is the level of service Cathedrale wants to promote. I’d love to get in touch with the management team to share this feedback. It’s the worst behavior of a waiter I’ve seen in 25 years in New York City.

   I specifically made a reservation for a table in the main dining room, but we were seated at a table in front of the bar instead. This unexpected change significantly impacted my friends' experience and left us disappointed with the restaurant. The reservation request was not honored as promised

   I’ve read some bad reviews, so I was a bit hesitant. But the experience was pretty good. We found food excellent: fresh oysters, beef tartar outstanding, very tasty burrata. Main course: excellent veal steak with mash. Service was attentive (maybe too much at some point), but we enjoyed it anyway. Nice ambiance

   fun vibe in creatively decorated space. staff friendly and fun food very good really no complaints and we had a very good experience

   Everything about our dining experience was wonderful. The food was amazing, Miguel, our waiter was super attentive, and the ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful.

   I have been several times now. The food is pretty good, but also quite heavy. The service was poor the last two times- long , long wait times to order etc . Insistence that we order appetizers and entrees at the same time (though they did the serving sequence correctly )

   We had made a special reservation for a birthday. The food was okay but below my expectations. We asked for a special dessert for our birthday but were served a normal dessert. It was changed later but the surprise was gone. Overall it was bad.

   We had an amazing experience at the Cathedral. The staff is excellent and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the onion soup. Enough option for vegetarian and non vegetarian. Drink menu had great options. Staff was on point and was helpful in picking out drinks and menu items. Highly recommend. There was a loud table next to us which was the only reason I gave it a higher rating on the noise level

    Was excited to have a table & on our last night of our holiday. Was staying at the Moxy, which is a very good, funky hotel. Rooftop bar was excellent so had high hopes for the Cathédrale. The deco & ambience looked amazing on arrival. VERY busy garden & bar area, which was good. We had a fantastic table so top marks for that. Our waiter was attentive initially & presented much of the menu which was impressive. The wine arrived in good time & tasting offered so excellent. …however, that’s where the good service stopped. After 45 minutes out came the prawn starter but no onion soup. No sign of our waiter & after 15 minutes later we got the attention of another waiter & then the soup. We explained to the Maître D’ the problem & she arranged for both starters to be re-made. We were really disappointed that a restaurant of this calibre had failed to get starters out on time & together. This is basic! The spoon I was given was not a soup spoon either. So after 2 hours we got our mains. The beef was excellent. My chicken chasseur was disappointingly dry. Just not in the casserole long enough. We had ran out of wine as waiting so long so ordered more. Table waiter was not seen, so we filled our own glasses. We were not charged for our starters & given two complimentary desserts but desserts weren’t nice. Crème brûlée had coffee in it which is incorrect. Should be vanille. Bombilinnis were dry & tasteless. Definitely an over priced menu & complacently incorrectly pretentious, relying on too small a kitchen, which was dysfunctional & not communicating. Tables with 3+ on weren’t attended to. Don’t expect to have a conversation here either. The waiters couldn’t hear what was going on either as music way too loud & couldn’t see as too dark, dropping tray with too many glasses. Wouldn’t re-book. Do though visit the bar & the rooftop though. Both excellent & rooftop has breath taking views including WTC. Opens 4pm until 11pm. Check out happy hour.
