   The portions were still filling the lobster pasta was the best main. The stake tartar was also a great portion for an appetizer. They also brought more bread for the appetizers if you needed. Great place for a date or a double date. The music does get loader though out the night so if you like a quiet dinner I would say just good earlier. We all had a great night and service was great

   We had booked a Valentine dinner for 2. I didn’t expect much, but the welcoming ambiance and pleasant, accommodating host and sommelier were a great experience to set us on the wonderful evening with a pink rose wrapped in a bouquet style. We started with 2 glasses of Prosecco, then with an incredible lobster bisque served like a French union soup style but instead with a puff pastry on top covering the soup bowl. The lobster bisque was so much flavour from the fresh lobster and little chunks of lobster meat. My wife was amazed at how good it was better than many of our Michelin-starred restaurants that we have been to. The next course was the 2 large ravioli filled with braised short ribs, which was tender and had great texture and juicy flavours made along with the wrapped sheets of pasta. I would say it’s even comparable and even better than Famiglia Baldassarre in Toronto. The next course was the New York steak and fresh lobster cooked perfectly, a tempting and tender treat. We have had lobster at high-end steak houses and it’s often overcooked to hard and from frozen lobster. This was fresh, and you could tell the sweet and tender lobster meat. We ended with a large pink macaroon, soft and with great texture. Truly a memorable experience, I recommend doing special menus like this more often.

   Valentines prefix was great. A little disappointed in the desert. Atmosphere had loud music and tables were on top of each other.

   Galentines dinner with my girlfriend . It was our first time there and we loved the food, service and the place . We will be back (loved the French onion soup)

   Dinner with our granddaughter. I suggest sitting in the furthest room from the bar. Food was very good portions are generous and the kitchen is flexible with modest changes from dishes, listed on the menu however, they need to have more Canadian wines given the current environment, there are a lot of excellent choices out there. You need to do this, please.

   We had a less than satisfactory meal due to very poor service and entrees that were luke warm served on cold plates. This is poor for a restaurant serving $50 entrees. We also had the same issue at their sister restaurant in Oakville -Beacon. Our server didn’t have a clue about ingredients in the dishes or how to handle issues. When we mentioned that our food wasn’t hot, she asked us what we wanted her to do about it. And then said she would talk to her manager. More training is required. She was pleasant however.

   We had great food and excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant for a family dinner or just a date night.

   There can be lots of private events that can affect the speed of service greatly even when dining room is empty. In my experience, we were seated at 4:50pm with the dining room pretty empty. There was around 30 minutes gap between us finishing appetizer and entree served. The table next to us, served by a different waitress, received discount on their bill. But we were not so lucky. The shrimps in Seafood Provencal Bouillabaise were not too fresh, giving a mushy texture. Our waiter was not very attentive.
