   Cecilia Creole Bistro is outstanding! I had the filet and it was perfect! Sides are excellent. It's a tad tricky if you're eating KETO but it can be done. Wife had the Redfish Cecilia - grilled and it was mouth watering. (I tried a bite!) Everything served has an excellent presentation. Service is great but they don't hover. We don't drink so I can't say anything about cocktails. Some very interesting appetizer choices... definitely try the brussels sprouts and the cornbread! Prices are very reasonable considering the gourmet preparation! We love it! P.S. The pre-written choices for what makes this place special are way off base! (pet friendly, brunch, outside seating, etc. Just know that this place is worth checking out for date night in downtown Baton Rouge. Parking on the street or in a lot close by. MAKE A RESERVATION!    Cecilia‘s was recommended to us and we were not disappointed! Gabby was our server and she was a pure delight. We enjoyed pre-dinner cocktails of Prosecco and buffalo trace while we peruse the menu. The prices of items were very reasonable . My husband selected the crawfish étouffée and I jerk chicken on a bed of red beans and rice with a side of grilled brussels sprouts. Both of us enjoyed the unique flavors of our meals. For dessert, we ordered the small cornbread in the iron skillet with a maple syrup/butter sauce covering the top. It was delicious as well. It was our first time in Baton Rouge and Cecilia‘s made a big impression on us. Kudos to the owner and to Gabby – we highly recommend 👍🏼👍🏼

   It was our first time here and man they didn't disappoint at all!!! Everything we had from our drinks to dessert was phenomenal :) Service was great and our server checked on us after every 1st bite. We went during the lunch rush and we didn't have to wait long at all. Definitely a well oiled machine. The restaurant was small and cozy with maybe 20 tables. I loved everything about it. Our appetizers consisted of the crab cake and the pork belly and andouille eggrolls. Entree was the seafood pasta and the redfish Cecilia and dessert was my all time fav, vanilla bean crème brûlée. I'll definitely be back again :)

   The food was delicious and the server was attentive. It’s casual but so inviting. I enjoyed everything from the salad to the dessert. The chef knows how to get it done! Awesome experience.

   1st there for restaurant week and we will be back. This place in a hidden gem in BR. All 3 of our courses were amazing. My tenderloin was cooked perfectly and get the cannoli for dessert. That crust and filling were heaven. Plus, our drinks from the bar were prefect. We had a great waitress too.

   Our waiter, James, was excellent. He was attentive but not overbearing and very accommodating. The food, from the appetizer to the dessert was first class. We do eat out often and this is Restaurant Week so we have eaten out every night this week and this was the best food so far. We do not live in Baton Rouge but will go back to Cecelia's often.

   The service at Cecilia's is always good. Today, I had the gumbo and the alligator bites were extremely salty. The gumbo tasted as though it had burned.
