   We had a wonderful evening at Cedron! Great ambiance, excellent service and the food was outstanding! We had a couple of the specials - a mushroom croquette, and a cod & shrimp dish, along the T-bone steak. All were amazing! The server recommended wine pairings, and they were all excellent as well! There is construction where the restaurant entrance is, so it is easy to miss.

   Judging from the other reviews we hit this on a bad night. It was our first night in Madrid and the restaurant was empty when we arrived. Our main courses were pretty inedible, I had the cod which was soupy and unappealing in look and taste. My husband had the Milanese which was better than the cod but still not good. The croquettes were ok, the complimentary hummus was the best course, I will say the wine was lovely as were the wine glasses but unfortunately the rest was a fail.

   We visited this restaurant following a recommendation from a different restaurant where we had had an excellent meal. Pleasing the Cedron was equally as good. The food was excellent. The wine we ordered was out of stock, however the waiter's knowledge of wine was impressive and his recommendation was excellent at a similar price. If we were to return to Madrid we would have no hesitation in returning.

   My husband and I had the flank steak and the veal meatballs with Karman wine. Everything was delicious, and the veal meatballs were especially amazing. If we ever visit Madrid again this will definitely be on our list to visit. Excellent service as well!

   We visited Cedrón on our final evening in Madrid. It was the perfect opportunity to relax with good food and wine as we reflected on our lovely trip!

   This restaurant only has indoor seating. We were only 1 of 3 couples inside. Food is good. Service is good. Wine list is outstanding. But unfortunately this restaurant is close to several lively restaurants with outdoor seating so I can understand why people may pass by it. I'm glad we enjoyed a meal here. We could not have been treated better.

   I have made this réservation just on the comments of this website. When I arrived I Just did not understand why this place have that good comments. From the moment the owner « I guess » made us feel welcome. The menu got a totally diffèrent dimension. Well its not a star restaurant but its réal good honnest Food and the wines are really intersting. just a Pitty they dont have a terrace.    Made late reservations for three, arrived with open arms by the owner and were quickly sat down. Got an excellent wine recommendation and had a fantastic dinner.

    Excellent service with advice for local wines. Had a wonderful meal, over ordered as usual, so … ok, still had a great desert. Highly recommend. Just one street off the Calla Cava, so great and quiet location to people watch.
