    Very consistent food quality. Mussels beautifully cooked; steak a tad chewy but tasty. Service excellent as always. Nice to see a dark(ish) ale, Adnams Broadside on. Quite impressive really for a cold, January, Tuesday evening!

    I visited The Cellar House several times previously. The food is very tasty and menu choices just right. This time the food was slightly cool, otherwise I would give higher mark. The pub was very busy and it had a great atmosphere. The service was pleasant and friendly. They had non alcoholic wine, which was great idea as I was driving. Desserts were free. Absolutely brilliant - would return.
