   Had an excellent meal at Chakhana. Food arrived very quickly , 3 courses completed in 1 hour 15. Last year I experienced an evening of slow service so a huge improvement, lots of very friendly and professional front of house staff too. Food was great! Only improvement could be a few more carbs on some dishes or recommending more sides. Filled up on the desserts! Great ambience.

   The customer service from the very first step into Chakanas was great. The tasting menu was a real delight with a great variety of Peruvian dishes. Table service was also outstanding. Thoroughly recommend the Peruvuan negronis. We will be returning very soon.

   The set menu was absolutely fantastic, service was great and cocktails superb too. Absolutely one of my favourite places in Birmingham now, already making plans to go back.

   Excellent service, the young lady was extremely helpful explaining each dish and the food was delicious.. I left in a food coma !! Highly recommend and will definitely be going again …

   This is a completely outstanding culinary experience. All courses (4 in total for us) where delightful, elevating the traditional peruvian cuisine at its best. The staff were very attentive and ready to help at any point of the evening. The coctel, the wine and the pisco superb. Decoration simple but clean and inviting creating a lovely atmosphere among the dinners. They made my husband's birthday really special. Thank you to the kitchen team and the staff team. Definitely a night to remember.

    Highly recommended by a friend but our experience didn’t live up to expectation . We waited a very long time for our main courses, when they came they were Luke warm, we didn’t say anything as it would have taken even longer ! I had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection ( I asked for medium) but all our mains wasn’t warm enough. We appreciate preparing fresh food takes time but we expected the food to be warm I also think 12.5% service charge is way too high. If in London I would understand .
