We went to celebrate a milestone birthday for my wife. Food was really great. We had one issue. The waiter asked for food allergy and we told him that my daughters have peanut allergy. However, after eating a bread one of my daughters developed an allergy and when we asked the waiter about the bread he mentioned that the pumpernickel bread may have some hints of nut. So if he knew that why did he give that on the table? Other than that, we had a good experience.

We came to Chambao to celebrate both a birthday and our honeymoon, and it was truly unforgettable! From the moment we walked in, the vibes were immaculate—elevated, energetic, and full of life. The live performances added such a fun and unique touch to the night. Our waiter Lester was incredible—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. The food? Absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented. Between the ambiance, the service, and the food, we couldn’t have asked for a better evening. Chambao exceeded our expectations and made our celebration feel so special. Highly recommend!

Prepaid for Coastal Tasting Experience. Long wait times between courses with only about 4-6 tables total in the restaurant. Two courses contained octopus, which was overcooked both times. I'm an Executive Sous Chef at Castle Hot Springs Resort, so I was disappointed to be served tough octopus twice by fellow Chefs. We waited about 20 minutes for dessert to finally arrive. We don't drink alcohol, so we just had water with our meal. The server presented us with a check at the end, which I didn't think we needed because we had prepaid. They told us water is $15 each. This came out to about $85. No one told us they charge for water. They just kept refilling our glasses. The server asked if I wanted to leave a 15% tip. I said "Yes. That is fine. 15% tip for the bill with the water." He said ok. He charged me $123. That is not 15% of $85. That is, in fact, a 50% tip. I noticed it on my bank statement when I got back to the hotel. I would not recommend this place at all. Very dishonest.

The food was extremely good. The only disappointment was no lobster. 😩 the waiter pushed me on the shrimp dish and it was not what I ordered because I don't eat shrimp. 🦐 lol

The restaurant was beautiful and service impeccable at the beginning- our table ordered 2 filet steaks among other entrees. Steak was so tough that I literally could not cut it despite the HUGE steak knife given.. when I mentioned to the waiter ( and he witnessed me struggling) that it was so tough he left to speak with manager who brought me a different knife .. yes a different knife! no attempt to exchange the meat which was clearly NOT a filet due to shape and grain and taste.. it looked as though the two filets were a NY strip cut in half.. at $50 U.S. I definitely expect more. Other meals were good. After the new steak knife experience, which was pleasant, service was almost non-existent. Music continued to increase in volume so much so that it was ridiculous and we were unable to hear each other or the waiter who was literally screaming. Probably would not go back
