   I expected more from char grill and was honestly excited to have the truffle fries . The steak was very tough and initially I wasn’t given a knife . The truffle fries were bland and flavorless and honestly made me feel as if I wasted my money .

   I had the crab cake Benedict and hubby had creole sauté, both were delicious . Also great Bloody Mary’s and mimosas for $6.

   As always food was delicious and the service was great. I was disappointed that I couldn’t get my rewards points added to my account because I remembered AFTER the bill was closed out. Our check was almost $500 with tip. That’s a lot to not get reward points for. I would like to see this reversed and my account credited.

   This is the second time in the last few months we’ve been and 1 or 2 (of 3 or 4) of the ribeyes were overcooked. We had to ask for steak knives this time. The salads were ok, not well executed in my opinion. Increased focus on the kitchen and the food that’s going out is a must.

    I had the 8oz Filet and it was excellent. Other entrees served to our table included the Brown Sugar Salmon Special and Shrimp Carbonara. The Sugar Salmon was also excellent. The Seafood Carbonara was very good. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. The atmosphere was great - live piano music and great ambiance. Char is among our favorite places to eat and is well priced considering the excellent quality .
