    First time at this restaurant to celebrate a friends birthday. Restaurant had only a couple tables that had patrons when we arrived. Service was very slow, had to wait a very long time to get drinks. Appetizers were the best part of the meal. We brought a very expensive bottle of wine which our server opened and never poured it. We poured our own glasses and having some leftover to take home we corked it ourselves and took when we left. Never offered assist or a bag. Dinner was fair, we had a Filet and the Redfish. Nothing special, food was luke warm and pretty uninteresting. For the prices and with so many great restaurants to choose from in Memphis we will go elsewhere nextime.

    I went there today (Wednesday) for the express purpose of enjoying the Daily Special: Short Ribs. One of my favs at Char. As always, delicious and enough beef to carry some home. I had to have my favorite dessert there….pecan pie. Large piece served warm with vanilla ice cream. Perfect lunch coupled with good service. My friend also ordered the Short Ribs….her first time to have this dish, and she was pleased.

    Waiter was unaware of the spirits in stock. The drinks were not made well. My food was cold overall lack luster evening at Char. 10 out 10 would not recommend.

    We celebrated our anniversary dinner. It was an overall great experience. Our server David was really accommodating and answered all our questions. I had the duck breast cooked medium. My husband had the new york strip cooked medium rare. We had a nice dessert with our evening drinks. All the food was cooked perfectly and delicious. We will be back.

    My food was undercooked but they went over an beyond to fix it constantly checking to see was there anything I need was I ok even gave free dessert top notch indeed

    Great service by Zach that was only outdone by the amazing meal we enjoyed! Filet was melt in your mouth good and the sides were perfection, especially the green beans. My compliments to everyone!

    Had dinner on New Year's Eve to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was our first time there. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the duck breast, my husband had the scallops, and our grandson had the grouper. Everything was delicious! I will definitely be returning!

    Arrived in time. Promptly seated. Service was quick and efficient. We had onion rings as an appetizer, pork chop and 8 oz filet for the mains. Everything was perfectly prepared, as usual. Highly recommend.
