Charley's Steak House is owned by the Woodsby family and has operated in Florida since 1974. Charley’s serves only three-year-old USDA prime and choice Angus steers, aging them four to six weeks for tenderness & flavor and hand-cutting the steaks daily to ensure consistent quality. The steaks are then flame-broiled over Florida citrus and oak wood in a custom-built pit at 1200º searing in the tantalizing taste that has made Charley’s the #1 steakhouse in America every year since 2007! Charley’s philosophy of providing only the finest extends from the kitchen to the wine cellar. The wine list approaches 500 selections from scores of exceptional wineries around the globe. Charley’s has been recognized with numerous awards including “Best of Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator magazine, DiRōNA and Orlando Magazine’s“ Best Steak House & Best Old Favorite”.     An amazing first time to Charley’s. Great service, the food was cooked perfectly and flavor was top notch. The staff were all super friendly and super attentive for all guests and tables, will be recommending them to anyone who wants a great dinner in the area.

    Once again we had a fantastic meal! The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. Every time we go it is a relaxing environment and we never feel rushed to get through with our meal. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the garlic mashed potatoes are out of this world. The staff is so friendly and Tony took great care of us again this trip. We always look forward to going to Charley's and know that we will have an extraordinary meal and experience.

    I always have to stop at Charley's at least once every trip to FL. Steaks so delicious, signature martini perfect with bacon blue cheese olives. Only place I know of that offers those. Everything is great at Charley's, and everyone is friendly.

    We were so looking forward to dining here for a family celebration, had several recommendations it was the best steakhouse. Sadly, it was not. We had 6 adults and a child. Bill was over $1100, which we expected. The good: excellent lobster bisque, excellent huge fried lobster we all shared as an appetizer, excellent halibut, excellent broccoli, excellent desserts. The bad: the caesar salad was terrible (how do you ruin a caesar?). The worst: the steaks! 2 ordered center cut filet mignon, one medium rare, one medium, both were well done and the texture was not tender. Son ordered the Wagyu filet and was so excited until it came. He ordered rare, and it came well done. The texture was gritty and rubbery. Worst steak he’s ever had, and several of us took a bite, it was terrible. The waiter was very friendly and chatty when he came, but that was rare, our drinks (water, tea, and cocktails) were empty for long periods. We were there for three hours, and happy to escape. In decades of dining together, we’ve always had good experiences until this one. Summary: good appetizers, good fish, bad steaks, good desserts, slow service.

    Another great experience at Charley’s (Kissimmee). Aaron was our exceptional server. We had the bacon wrapped scallops, house salad, grass fed bison ribeye with truffle butter, fried lobster (fried in beef tallow!) with jezebel sauce, button mushrooms and key lime pie. Everything was outstanding - as it always is. The presentation of the fried lobster was so creative! Aaron was very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. He checked with the kitchen to make sure there were no eggs in my menu selections. From start to finish, Charley’s, and Aaron, were exceptional. Looking forward to our next visit.
