Charley's Steak House is owned by the Woodsby family and has operated in Florida since 1974. Charley’s serves only three-year-old USDA prime and choice Angus steers, aging them four to six weeks for tenderness & flavor and hand-cutting the steaks daily to ensure consistent quality. The steaks are then flame-broiled over Florida citrus and oak wood in a custom-built pit at 1200º searing in the tantalizing taste that has made Charley’s the #1 steakhouse in America every year since 2007! Charley’s philosophy of providing only the finest extends from the kitchen to the wine cellar. The wine list approaches 1000 selections from scores of exceptional wineries around the globe. Charley’s has been recognized with numerous awards including “Best of Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator magazine, DiRōNA and Orlando Magazine’s“ Best Steak House & Best Old Favorite”.     Staff was great from the Valet to the host to the wait staff . Very cordial and interested in what we wanted or needed. Food was outstanding and the portions were large and they mean it when they say they an be shared. I would certainly come more often if I lived closer to Tampa.

    Another amazing time dining at Charley’s. This moment we celebrated my promotion as a Notary Loan Signing Agent. Julie was very nice, the entire team were engaging. It’s now becoming a routine; Lobster bisque as my starter. Every course was a delight and as always too full for dessert The foundation of this company is impeccable and that’s why we make the 1 hour drive to embrace the ambience great staff and amazing meal.

    My wife took me to Charley’s for my birthday dinner! I’ve been to steakhouses around the U.S. and abroad — Charley’s is definitely considered my #1 choice! If you’re in Tampa and don’t go, you missed one of the best steakhouse experiences in the United States!

    Great food. Nick our server was amazing. There were a couple of the items we ordered that didn’t match our previous experience. The prices seem overly inflated compared to other comparable restaurants like Flemings and Ruth’s.

    Very noisy. Wait staff very rushed, not the level of attention you would expect for such an upscale place. Costco steaks are better than their dry aged. Massive area of parking by door reserved for valet. Parking yourself is a long hike. Even when we left valet parking by the door was mostly empty. Again, not the experience/customer service expected at an upscale place.

    Great dining experience! We had a table by the windows and loved the view. Service was superb. Food was delicious. Reservation time was honored. Valet was prompt and courteous.
