Charley's Steak House is owned by the Woodsby family and has operated in Florida since 1974. Charley’s serves only three-year-old USDA prime and choice Angus steers, aging them four to six weeks for tenderness & flavor and hand-cutting the steaks daily to ensure consistent quality. The steaks are then flame-broiled over Florida citrus and oak wood in a custom-built pit at 1200º searing in the tantalizing taste that has made Charley’s the #1 steakhouse in America every year since 2007! Charley’s philosophy of providing only the finest extends from the kitchen to the wine cellar. The wine list approaches 1000 selections from scores of exceptional wineries around the globe. Charley’s has been recognized with numerous awards including “Best of Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator magazine, DiRōNA and Orlando Magazine’s“ Best Steak House & Best Old Favorite”.     The place was fantastic. The food was amazing. I usually go to Bern’s when I’m in Tampa, but this place is my new “Go To.” The menu offers a wide variety of cuts and meats, not to mention the seafood. Delicious!

    Charley’s never disappoints! We just ate at Wolfgang’s steakhouse NYC in December 24’ nothing compares to Charlie’s. If you haven’t been there, or you have before, GO running! From the first bite it’s divine. We get the Prime aged bone-in porterhouse every time, although friends have have lobster, and other all good all the sides are amazing. But the blue cheese wedge is truely authentic homemade Roquefort cheese dressing with crumbles the size of golf balls. We just dined last night and I can’t wait until our next trip to Tampa we reside in NY and Lewes, DE but are here mostly and never miss a dinner at Charlie’s.

    We took my father here for his birthday. Had always wanted to try this steakhouse as an out of town from Los Angeles area. Service was great, food was great! Definitely have mention the martini pours are definitely generous! Charley’s did not disappoint!

    Service was terribly slow but the food was great. Ran the gamut of apps, salad, dinner and dessert. The time between apps and dinner seemed like an eternity. Most in my party had empty glasses for quite a while. The food made up for for awful delays/service
