   The steaks were excellent, but the sides were just average. Our server was knowledgeable, professional, and extremely helpful. However, the ambience left much to be desired. The lighting was far too bright, creating a harsh atmosphere, while the music was too low to enhance the dining experience. Additionally, the presence of fruit flies at the bar was disappointing and raised concerns about cleanliness. The restaurant was also nearly empty and eerily quiet, which only amplified the lack of atmosphere. For a high-end steakhouse, consistency across all aspects—food, service, and ambience—is expected. To add to the disappointment, they were out of the wine we had selected. At this price point, dining should feel refined and immersive, but the experience fell short. Given the cost, it simply is not worth returning.

   I highly recommend this restaurant in the heart of Times Square. The food and atmosphere are outstanding. You go from the craziness of Times Square to this beautiful, quiet, elegant restaurant on the 4th floor of the Knickerbocker Hotel. The service was fantastic. We did the pre-theater dinner menu and for $68.00 we felt it was good value for the money. The portions were much bigger than we expected, and we left feeling satisfied but not overly stuffed. My husband's steak was phenomenal. I am not a beef eater, but even I was a bit jealous I didn't order it. My salmon was outstanding as well. The cocktail bar is also very nice and would be a good spot to have a drink before or after a show if you are looking for someplace quiet. Overall, I highly recommend.

   Ordered from the pre-theatre menu. Food was excellent. Really enjoyed tiger prawn cocktail, Caesar salad, salmon and the deserts. Service was excellent.

   Food was excellent but they are understaffed. Service took forever. We were a party of six. Four were served their drinks as aperitifs - the other two got their drinks with the main course. Filet mignon and Johnnie Walker Black don't go well. One of the diners requested two sauces with their meat - only one sauce arrived. The omission was noted, but the second sauce never arrived. The quality of the meat was excellent as was the tuna tartare appetizer.

   We were seated 15 min after our reservation. Waited 20 min for Service. The Filet was more of a Meatloaf then a stake.. It was promptly removed from table and bill, but no substitute was offered. We tipped on the full amount as server was nice enough, even though no substitute was offered and my best friend had to leave slightly hungry.. We had a show.

    We absolutely loved our meal! The pre-theater dinner menu was well priced -- an excellent value for NYC and for the quantity and quality of the food. The food was absolutely supurb! And our server was professional and caring. We loved the "cool" atmosphere of the dining room. We will definitely be back.
