   Lovely evening at the Alexandria Chart House. Attentive and friendly staff, delicious dinner! Worth getting through Old Town traffic to the water!!! We had a reservation on a Saturday evening. We were about 20 minutes early and the host staff was able to get us seated early at our table which was fabulous. Our waiter, Paul was friendly and knowledgeable, the food was delicious and it was a very nice date night overall. We enjoyed the shrimp and avocado/mango stack as our appetizer. We ordered two mains, the grilled salmon plate for me and my husband had the sea bass with the lobster risotto. We loved our meals! We were too full for dessert. That’s a good sign right :)

   My good friend and I enjoyed a great time at the Chart House! We were celebrating her 65th birthday and they brought her a lovely piece of cake with a candle at the end which just topped off a delightful evening. My friend could not stop talking about how delicious her steak was and my lamb chops were excellent. Alejandro was an amazing waitress and was very attentive and a very lovely person to have wait on us. This is our second time going there and we have been impressed both times. The view is also beautiful.

   Kitchens staff not inform waitress that numerous menu items were out of stock including 4 featured seafood items. Waitress informed us of the out of stock items at at least 30 Minutes after we placed our orders. Very disappointing lack of communication between the wait staff and kitchen staff. Both my husband and my dinners were mediocre. Only 3 weeks prior we ate at this same restaurant and had a wonderful experience.

   The crab and chicken sandwich were very good. We also had a very nice house salad. My only comment is on the salad bar for $21, not many selection for the price if one is ordering it as a meal. Additionally no protein selection except the chick peas and the bacon crumbles. I suggest to add avocado, salmon and chicken cold cuts, as one could order a cob salad with chicken and avocado and enjoy a consistent meal and pay less.

   Although the food was good, the service was the true standout. Our waitress graciously accommodated any request, including our daughter’s request for just butter noodles on her birthday. And the hostess accommodated our very early arrival as well. Truly appreciated the wonderful experience and we’ll be sure to return (if you’ll let us 😂)!

    Greetings, we've been going there for so long,everything's always great. One of my favorite dining places. I Hope they bring back nice lively band for New Years Eve as we have not seen one maybe twice these past years. Thank you.
