    Always a wonderful experience dining at the Chart House in Cardiff. Beautiful view, beautiful ambience, delicious brunch at a very reasonable cost. Service was fantastic. Hard to believe they do not charge for valet parking, you just leave a tip if you would like to. No one does that anymore. Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant.

    We were a group of 7 celebrating the holidays! It was a perfect evening. Kaitlin (?) I think was our server. She made sure each person in our group felt like her only guest. Very pleasant and professional! One, and ONLY one, piece of constructive (I hope) criticism: the chopped salad was unappealingly huge. I shared mine with 3 other guests - it was heaped on my plate - and was over dressed, and a bit soggy. Not fresh. Otherwise, the meal was very good. And my martini was one of the best ever!

    My family and I frequently dine at this particular Chart House. The food is almost always exceptional, the serving staff professional and efficient, and you cannot beat the overall location/atmosphere. We dined there last night in celebration of my birthday. Perfect ocean front seating. Waiter was engaging and joyful. Most of the food was of high quality. Here is where our experience turned to disappointment. My wife ordered a filet mignon which comes with mashed potatoes. My wife asked our server if she could substitute something in lieu of the mashed potatoes and she was given various options. She selected asparagus. When we received the final bill, we were a bit surprised to see that we were actually charged an additional $7 for the asparagus. Not the end of the world but it would have been nice if our server informed us of the additional charge. Mind you we were charged full price for the steak and didn’t get the mashed potatoes that come with it. So, we were disappointed in our server’s failure to let us know in advance. This surely won’t prevent us from going in the future. Just unfortunate.

    We are frequent diners at the Chart House in Cardiff and have rarely been disappointed. Our favorite waiter is Marco and if you can request one of his tables, you won't be disappointed either.
