   Fantastic Lobster Bisque… best I’ve had in years. Service ( Abby from Ohio) was such a good server. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. Would have rated 5* if there had been more on the menu especially fish. Definitely good restaurrant!

   My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Chart House and our expectations were much higher than the outcome. The food was amazing, Mac Nut Mahi was wonderful, calamari was great. The view from the window table was outstanding. Our reservation was for 615 and when we arrived at 610 we were told that there were a few tables to set a head of us and we could sit at the bar or in the waiting area, so we chose the bar. It was the end of happy hour and the bar service was great, the menu for HH looked really great. At 645 we ordered and appetizer from the bar, since we were still not seated for our 615 reservation. I’ll be honest, I did not want to celebrate our anniversary sitting at the bar, but we were hungry and no updates were given to when our table would be ready. The hostess was chewing gum and didn’t give me a good impression that we mattered or that it mattered when we were seated. Our appetizer arrived the same time that we were told our table was ready so they took the calamari to our table while we paid the bar tab. We sat at our table for quite a few minutes with no service, no waters, and no bread. Our waiter arrived and said “you know what you want to get, you’ve been at the bar.” No specials, no introductions, no explanation of the menu. After we ordered, he then asked if we wanted the lava cake because it took 30 minutes to prepare - I asked if that was the only desert and I’m guessing he didn’t hear me, we declined the lava cake. I asked for a bread basket. Our dinner arrived, water was refilled, and then the bread basket came. After dinner, our waiter came back and said “no desert, right?” We asked if the lava cake was the only desert and he said “no, there’s a desert menu”. Ok great, can we see the desert menu? The table next to us received a complementary birthday desert, but I guess they don’t do that for anniversaries because we didn’t receive anything (not that we expected it, but most upscale restaurants make an effort.

   I was between 4 and 5 stars. If you had a 4.5 rating I would’ve given that. VERY good overall. Not quite excellent though.

   The food was good and our server was pleasant. The hostess was awful. We arrived just before our reservation time. I checked in and was told there were several tables ahead of us and she would get to us when she could. After twenty minutes my husband inquired again and was told she was waiting for a table to be cleaned. After ten more minutes I inquired again. She asked my name and if I had a reservation! When I explained, she gave me a dirty look and said we would be next. I totally understand being busy and maybe understaffed. I do not understand waiting 30 minutes for an existing reservation and being treated rudely and as if I was just an annoyance. Second experience like that in two years. Not so anxious to try again.

   Had a nice meal with excellent service from David. We had a table near the end which was nice and quiet, tables in the middle would experience higher noise levels. Got a table 15 minutes after our reservation time. Once seated the service was prompt and professional.

    The yellowtail starter was amazing, we finished it in about 10 seconds. The lobster bisque and beet salad were a 10/10. We got both the sea bass and the grouper and they were both delicious. The service got a little slow at the end so we ended up skipping dessert!
