   We have been to the Chart House on several occasions and always enjoyed our dinner but this evening everything was super wonderful. The food was cooked to perfection. The evening was a delightful surprise. Also, we enjoyed watching the sea otters. The staff and server were very pleasant and attentive.

   A wonderful place to eat! Dress up and enjoy the views and wonderful menu selections. Wonderful cocktail menu. There is also a small parking lot directly across from the entrance for restaurant guests. I would definitely come back again next time I am in town!

   The worst Host experience, the manager took Care of us. But these 2 girls goes totally againts the restaurant experience, harmful for people whose coming for the First time.

   Excellent host service, great table with view. Unfortunately that’s where the night ended. Took over 20mins to get one drink served, waitress explained that the bartender was new.? Appetizer arrived 10 mins before the drink. Waitress was very apologetic throughout the evening, very pleasant, felt bad for her. Sea bass in my opinion was frozen not fresh, it appeared to have that texture and flavor, disappointing for such an establishment. My wife’s filet was not eatable, literally tasted like the chef had not cleaned the grill the entire day. I actually gave my wife my meal and set aside her steak. Usually love the Chart House, but I would skip it in Monterey, I’m confident there are far better places to enjoy your dining experience. So unfortunate, since they have such a great viewing experience. My disappointment was shared, with compliments on the nice points of the evening with our waitress. Disappointed that the Manager didn’t take the time to acknowledge. We by no means were looking for any discount, not who we are, just disappointed in the evening.

   It was so nice to have a salad bar at this location…our server Leslie was amazing. She made all of her guests including us feel welcome at Chart House. She even talked to us about other Landry’s restaurants we may want to try that are in our area. She was friendly and efficient and all of our food came out hot and yummy.

    We have been coming for years and the food is in a serious down spiral. The New York and filet were cold and over done, sides with meal came out 15 minutes after the mains were served. Grilled Mahi Mahi was hard and chewy. Salad bar was great. Server was amazing. View, outstanding.
