    Been here many times and of course view is outstanding- food okay. Today-Christmas- they did a fabulous job. Prices fixe menu was terrific. Selection excellent. Food tasted great. They didn’t skimp on anything. I was so impressed and surprised. They get an A +. For $79 a real winner. Service started out slow but got better.

    We have been to Chart House many, many times, usually for special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. Today we dined there as a family of five for Christmas. The food and service were great as always, BUT we were put at a table that would comfortably seat three. It was insanely busy, but come on! If we hadn’t driven for 45 mins to get there and if it wasn’t Christmas, we definitely would have left. It was ridiculous. No room to move comfortably.

    Food excellent as always. Service personable but spotty. Started out solid but gradually got worse. Very attentive until entrees served then server disappeared. Water not refilled after entrees delivered. Looong time between entree and dessert. Worst of all, there was a patron in the dining room who had a dog on her lap. Clearly not a service animal. Inexcusable for “high end”dining. Ambiance and overall ratings reflect the dog more than the service.

    Truly always get a great meal here on the special occasions we can go. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. The food is excellent and the drink selections are second to none.

    We had a delightful holiday dinner. My wife and I enjoyed the NY Strip steak and our daughter savored the Seafood Bouillabaisse. Great night out with stunning views of NY City and friendly staff. We will be back!

    Hans Nielsen the general manager of The Chart House is one of the best there is. I had my wedding there in 1997 and he made it perfect. We came in for dinner last night (27 years later) and the food, ambience and service was AMAZING! Our waiter who was from Belgum was super attentive and always smiling. The Ahi Tuna was THE GREATEST QUALITY OF TUNA I HAVE WVER HAD!! The lobster tails were the way a lobster tail should taste. The filet could not have been better. The experience was a 5 Star plus. It was an evening that far superceded my expectations. The view of the city is remarkable! If you want an out of this world experience go immediately to The Chart House in Weehawkin and please tell Hans that Danielle Bennett sent you 😃
