   Weirdest charcuterie board I’ve ever had. A huge platter with mostly cubed Swiss cheese, four pieces of mozzarella tons of rosemary, and some olives and meat in the middle for $26. The chicken was overcooked, but the sauce was wonderful. The music, however, was AC/DC and some other strange choices. Overpriced for the quality of the food.

   This was our first time to Chase’s Place. We had reservations so we were seated immediately. We did notice couples without reservations taking advantage of bar service. They have a different menu on Open Table than at the restaurant. It’s a small menu, but everything we saw at other tables looked great. We ordered the fish & chips as well as the hill country chicken. Both were amazing! We had the chocolate cake for dessert. It was huge! The taste was just ok. I would try something else next time. We will definitely be back.

   My husband and I had dinner here while visiting Fredericksburg and had an excellent time. Food tasted great and was served quickly, staff were warm and inviting. Whole experience was enjoyable.

   We were very disappointed by our experience at Chase’s Place. We asked if there were more menu options based on the items we saw online (pictures of the menu), and were told “you can’t believe everything you see online.” The menu was very limited and modifications to meals are not allowed, even for food allergies. I wanted to enjoy my burger but it tasted like salt and mustard and my husband’s tacos did not have any seasoning. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

   This restaurant was recommended to us and we made a reservation. We were in Fredericksburg for a family gathering. Our table was ready when we arrived but right next to another table instead of a little further away. There were only three filled tables, since it was a Tues., and plenty of room in the restaurant. The owner (Chase) spent time introducing himself to the other two tables but ignored us. Our waitress wasn't very attentive, and we had to catch her attention several times or repeat requests. The food and drinks were good, but something felt off about the way we were treated. I'd look elsewhere as there are several great restaurants in town.

   Such a great experience! Had reservations on our last night in town, Doug served us and was super knowledgeable about the menu/drinks. Chase (owner) makes time to engage with all customers. We will be back 1000%.

    Nice, comfy place. Drinks are great; food was good, too. However, don’t plan on ANY substitutions; you get what you order (as described on the menu). I have an allergy to onions, so I asked for no onions and was told I could just pick them off (which was difficult since they were small, grilled onions). People on both sides of us were frustrated as well. Service is good, but there were too many tables for one person so you had to flag the wait staff down for anything you wanted. We were going to have an after dinner drink, but we were exhausted with it all, so we left. It’s ok…just know it’s a quaint little place with not much help (and it gets noisy when full).
