We had a delicious Christmas Eve dinner. We love the snow crab the best and always get it. Our new favorite starter is the oysters. The garlic noodles are a MUST! Our servers were great too - they were busy but tried as hard as they could to help us have a great time. The only negative comment is that our food was not hot. We didn't say anything because I think it was a factor because of the busyness of Christmas Eve.

They have improved the menu over the years, adding more non-fried options. The fried fish is still plenty good, as are the sauces. The Brussels sprouts stood out, as did the shrimp scampi. Service was attentive and well trained. Be aware that the restaurant adds a 20% service charge.

I was excited to try this restaurant. However, it fell extremely short of my expectations. My family and I ordered multiple items- the crab and spinach dip ( which we didn’t see or taste any crab), the Brussels, the hush puppies, honey siracha shrimp, and the lobster pasta. The lobster in the lobster pasta was entirely empty in the body, and had very minimal lobster in the tail and claw. It was literally a deep fried lobster shell! Additionally, it tasted very fishy! The noodles had a weird texture. The seafood boils were extra overpriced and very small! $30 for 1 crab cluster is crazy! Everything else was just ok, and not worth the hour ride for a mediocre dining experience. The staff was pleasant and the ambiance was cool. But the food left much to be desired. I would not recommend.

This was the first time visit for most of us in the group, at the recommendation of one of the family members to try Chasin’ Tails. We certainly were not disappointed at all. The food was very good, including the appetizers and the shared group meals. Although not a cheap eats restaurant by any means, the dishes and shared seafood boils were plentiful. Our drinks from the menu were very good too. It was not too busy of an evening so our service met our expectations. To end the meal, the limited season pumpkin spice beignets were excellent, well made and perfect with the sauce and icecream. We highly recommend this restaurant and the location which has easy access and parking.

We were asked at host stand if it was our first time there and we said yes. We got sat at an extremely wobbly two-top while there were numerous larger tables open. Before we could even ask our server (we’ll get to the ridiculously long waits to be greeted, etc next) for an open larger table near us that wasn’t wobbly, they sat another two top there directly (they didn’t have to ask to be lived to larger table). That same table was greeted with drink orders being taken and water drop off before a server ever came near us. Eventually a server stopped by to give us water and “more time to look over the menu etc” well after the other table had already gotten drinks etc. We asked the server if he could just put in our whole order because we had been waiting forever such a long time and he reluctantly agreed. We ordered the whole dang thing appetizer, a glass of brut rose and the three of a kind pot. Another server came by eventually to tell us he would actually be our server because the original one was on a large party, I reminded him that I’d orders the rose in addition to the food. Our appetizer came out (nobody notated what was what in the plate- in fact nobody explained anything despite it being our first visit) and it was almost gone by the time my drink finally came (I’d had to flag down a third server to ask him to find it for me informed me that “our server” was on a big party). Our pot came out and we worked on that. The second server who was supposed to be our server supposedly came a while later to check on us and I requested another glass of wine because it seemed like things were taking forever (I still had over half a glass left at this point). Later when we were almost finished with the entree, my wine still hadn’t come and I set my now empty glass on edge of the table- that server I ordered through came by and asked if I ever received my second glass to which I said no.. sending rest of review in note to restaurant because they cut off your review.

Wonderful ambience, top-tier service, and excellent food. I hosted a birthday dinner and the staff was very accomadating and the service and attention to detail was amazing. I would definately be visiting again when I am traveling back to the area.

Beautiful restaurant in Founders Row. Food was great and portions are large. Cocktails were also great. Nothing negative to say but it can be pricey depending on your selection.

This was the first time that I’ve truly disliked my experience at Chasin Tails. I’m usually very pleased upon entry to departure. But this waiter’s service was horrible and my entire experience felt rushed and offensive. I’ve been here over 10 times between my mom-son date nights to bringing family and friends to join us for a great meal with fantastic service. Last night was not the case. I intend to reach out to the manager

I had not been to Chasin' Tails in quite a few years. I am loving the redesign, the new location and most of all the new menu! I am already planning my next visit to try more items on the menu.
