It had been many years since I had eaten here. The calamari was wonderful. We shared the foie gras pate. I unfortunately was not impressed. The flavor to me was mainly cream. I had mussels for lunch. They were good although for my taste, the juice needed a little more garlic. Our waiter was a gentleman from Turkey and was wonderful.

Felt like we were dining at a French morgue. The food quality is excellent and wait staff is efficient, but the ambience is dreary. Perhaps the reserved, quiet, dark atmosphere works for the mostly elderly clientele at this traditional West End eatery but Sunday Brunch should not be a wake. Why must all the blinds be drawn on a bright, sunny day? Time for a makeover to give this dinosaur more of a bistro feel? We will look to livelier locales in Nashville nextctime.

Crème brûlée was good but the entrees were not good. Staff is super friendly. The decore is cozy and as you would expect.

It had been awhile since I dined at Chateau West and was pleasantly surprised. The decor hasn't changed, but I found the food to be exceptionally GOOD on this visit. I look forward to trying other tempting options in the near future.

The food was delicious!!! The restaurant was not full when we got there so it was nice and quiet//but full enough to be quietly festive! The seared fois gras was yummy and the special grouper was perfectly done!! We loved our waiter-/and we ran into old friends we hadn’t seen in awhile!! We will go back!!

Our group of five chose items from the menu that all loved. The wine list was really good. We ended up getting two bottles of a very good Russian River Valley Chardonnay that made everyone happy. The server, Eli, was over the top good. The noise level as low allowing great conversation. We will certainly be back. Great choice.

It's amazing how quiet this restaurant is, so close to West End. Food was good, service was fine. Great for a business meal.

This was our first time. We were visiting Nashville for the weekend, and caught it on the way out. It is so difficult to find true French food anymore. This was superb. My waiter was great. We will definitely be back again. Thanks for a great lunch in the snow.
