    Afternoon tea is quite simply an unforgettable experience here at Cheal’s. We offer a fabulous 2 course afternoon tea served daily. Each course is lovingly prepared by our in-house pastry team, using traditional ingredients. Choose from nine different teas, cocktails or a glass of prosecco or champagne, for a truly memorable occasion. Wednesday - Saturday: 12:30pm – 2:00pm £55 per person Please note that we require at least 48 hours' notice for this booking type. Bookings made with under 48 hours' notice may not be honoured.

Bookings available from 18:00 until 20:45. Join us afterwards for a complimentary glass of bubbles at Warren's bar, as we toast the end of 2024 and start of 2025. Please note that bookings will be allocated in The Lounge and Main Restaurant. Requests are not guaranteed, but our team will do their best to accommodate. Sommelier's selection wine flight is available for additional £100 per person. Dietary requirements available by advance request. No advance menu will be available.

    Friday, January 31st Our award-winning chefs will prepare 9 of their finest tasting plates, showcasing their cooking skills using the very finest produce. Your experience will start at our bar for an arrival champagne & a welcome by our Chef Director Matt Cheal. You will get to sample the wines recommended by our Sommelier before proceeding to our kitchen tour. You will then be accompanied to our Private Dining Room where the evening’s dining will begin. Courses will be served & described by our chefs & front-of-house staff. No advance menus – at the discretion of our chefs. Starting strictly at 6 pm. Approximate finish time of 10.30pm Dietary requirements available by advance request.

    Another superb night. Wagu has to be tried to be believed. Service first rate one of the best teams around. Have a wonderful Christmas and New year. See you all in January.

    We had the Winter 3 course meal at lunch. The food was delicious, the service impeccable and we will return in the New Year to try one of the other menus.

    Lovely experience for my brother’s 30th. Had a delicious cocktail in the bar first and then went upstairs for our meal. The food was incredible, even the bread they bring out at the start! It is the perfect place for an occasion as it felt so special. The staff are so attentive and friendly. It was a fantastic night here!

    Once again the Cheals team excelled in all areas. Both the lobster and duck egg starters were exceptional and well balanced, but the venison and guinea fowl exceeded both staters. We were well looked after from arrival through to leaving. Probably the best restaurant in the midlands

    We always choose a beautiful venue for our Christmas dinner date together, this year the venue of choice was of course Cheal’s. Let me tell you, this place did not disappoint! It lives up to every hype review it’s ever received. Our meal, along with the staff service was simply perfection and exactly what you’d hope from an establishment such as Cheal’s. The attention to detail was remarkable. The warm welcoming staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and relaxed while enjoying the wonderful dining experience. At no moment do you find yourself searching for eye contact with a waiter to order a drink/ask questions etc they just know, which personally we always feel is a bonus. Not forgetting the bar, which of course serves beautiful cocktails, both festive for the season and classics. Both equally delicious. Our waiter explained each carefully crafted dish served with superb detail and every single one was exquisite! Props to the chef and his wonderful team, you can tell lots of time and effort has gone in to the dishes, which are let’s face it, a work of Art! We will of course be attending Cheal’s again for our future celebrations.
